Blinker while towing

Im sure im not the first to notice this but I noticed today while towing a trailer when I hit the blinker to change lanes it blinked 5 times instead of 3. And to make sure I wasn't crazy or it changed with an Ota update after I unhooked from trailer I hit it and it blinked 3 times.
If I ever work up the nerve to use FORScan that's one of the things I wanted to do was change that to 5 blinks instead of 3.
I thought it was pretty neat it does that when towing tho

Been like that since 2012 that I know of...

O dang really. This is my first f150 since 09 . I thought that was pretty neat tho. I don't tow very often but I like that it does it. Learn something new everyday.

Same around here half the trailers on the rd don't even have lights on them so don't even have to worry they don't work. Lol.
Yeah I even use the trailer light check to make sure my lights all work. Don't need someone trying to get a lawsuit on my insurance from no lights or not using them.

Even if the truck has 360 cameras, trailer turn view requires the 2023+ IPMA software which is not yet distributed by OTA to MY '21 or '22. You can add it with FDRS but there's no telling when Ford will send it as OTA.
