Preload-levels don't change the travel of the stock components. At full droop the arms are in the same place as on a stock truck. The shock doesn't get any longer, it's just at rest in a different spot.

New arms do switch to an upper ball joint that is positioned better for the stresses it experiences, but that doesn't gain you any travel.

Spacer-levels can cause issues, depending...
But if your frame is further off the ground, isn’t the UCA at a greater angle as compared to stock rake? Hmmm

Yes, It is sitting at a steeper angle, but within the original travel range, which hasn't changed with a pre-load level.
