Hopefully this is the right spot for this thread...not sure if it should be in the maintenance thread. I'm installing a set of Bilstein 5100 front shocks and had some issues compressing the springs to get them mounted to the new shocks and put the springs back on the stock shocks and reassembled the suspension (ran out of time). When I lowed the truck I noticed the tire was toe-in at the front. I marked the springs before I removed them but I'm wondering if the cap rotated slightly while I was decompressing the spring. Is it possible that it could be anything else like the adjustment of the lower control arm, tightening the components while still on the jack stands, etc. No issues with bolting the shock into the control arm. If it is the upper spring cap are there any suggestions to get it back to the right position.

I appreciate any feedback the community can provide!
