I called Livernois yesterday. 2021 tune yes. No Tune yet for 2022 5.0. Ford changed stuff, will be a bit for the 22 tune, but they are working on it.
Livernois site shows the tuner as being 21-22 - I was told the same via email when I asked them, about a week ago.

What are realistic gains with a tune alone? And not jumping octane from 87 to 93.
Just curious , as i suspect +5hp (?) gains on a tune with 87 gas not even worth it at $700 price tag.

I don't believe we have any numbers as far as stock vs. tuned, BOTH on 93. Of course we know they're claiming +37hp going from stock tune on 87, to Livernois tune on 93.
I did get some Dragy numbers and videos on stock tune on my truck, on 93. I'm two weeks into a wait on a tuner, and will get some comparisons once it's tuned. We shall see!

Realistic? The coyote in the mustang has 460hp. Thats 60 hp difference with same engine. I would bet that your 5hp is extremly low. 39 should be easy.

If the difference in F150 coyote 400hp and Mustang 460hp all because of the tune, then for $700 10% gain of ~40hp is a good deal. I would go for it, any day.
But if its only 5-10hp , then not worth it.
I just think, the 60hp loss f150 vs mustang, due to f150 being a much heavier and larger vehicle, not because the engine on a f150 tuned down that much.
Hopefully @Mtnman1 will give us some real "apples to apples' numbers (on 87 before the tune and on 87 after the tune).

1. Engine HP has nothing to do with weight of the vehicle. If you think this, please educate yourself before spreading false info on tunes.

2. Livernois advertises 39hp and 45 ft/lb increase.

3. If Livernois claims were not true, video dynos false, etc. They would not be in business. Their claims are true and verified. They are not tops in the field by spreading lies and false numbers.

Hey Guys,

Just wanted to see if anyone has tuned the truck yet and if so what tuner!

I have read about livernois motorsports tune looks good! debating on pre order. want to see whats out there!
After reading reviews and dyno results I order the Livernois tune. That was on April the 6th. Havent gotten it yet .They told me they were having a 3-4 week backorder. Ill post the results after I get it installed. If it truly boost it 37 hp,that should a noticable difference you can feel

Or do a pre and post dyno if you have access to one.

Did you gey the cyl deac removed?

And the tranny tune will be worth it alone.

This is the main reason I ordered it. Any hp/tq gain would be awesome, but coming from a tuned 2019 3.5 with the 10r80, stock shifting just feels terrible.

I just spoke to Livernois about tuner I ordered for 2021 F150 FX4 regular cab 5.0 on April 6th. Initially they said 8-10 days, then 4 weeks, now 6 more weeks due ti micro chip shortage..............mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm kinda sounds familiar huh?

It sucks. We cant fulfill orders as well. A few controllers just went to a 365 day lead time over night.

Guess who gets to call some customers tomorrow?

Hey, those 3 $76k controllers you need? How does next year grab ya?

Luckily its only a power generation plant. Not like its urgent.

Folks need to know this supply shortage can get real ugly real quick.

Jeez man i think you need to educate yourself.
Livernois used different octane gasoline on their 2 runs. Read their comments on youtube.
They are in business for the reason that people dont use their heads and believe everything they are being fed. They could have just as well use diesel in their base run and then switch to gasoline and claim +150hp gains on that alone, and you'd be pretty impressed with those numbers.

If they wouldve used 93 octane all around , the gains would have been MINIMAL (i.e not worthy of a $800+ investment for 5-10hp that you will never feel on a truck).

Secondly, since for whatever reason you are pushing this tune here, your claim above about a mustang having 60hp than an f150, and in your head that all is attributed to the ecu tune, you are also wrong there. Mustangs 5.0 v8 Coyote engines uses different cams and manifolds hence more hp on higher rpms and has nothing to do with a ECU tune alone.

Simple. But yeah you can keep referring to my info as disinfo and enjoy your +5hp gain. All the power to you ;)

And yes, tunes are great, BUT for boosted engines , easily achieving 60-100+hp gains, but on an NA V8 tunes alone give minimal gains. Ive used different tunes on different cars, trucks and bikes, you just have to be realistic with your expectations. Thats all.

If +40hp gains were attainable on an NA v8 for $799 i'd be the first in line to grab one, but doing different runs on different octane gas that is where all that power is coming from. Marketing gimmick.

Im getting a whipple AND A TUNE.
