Best towing mirrors for 2022 F150?

We’re there any major issues with the Boost Mirrors? More specifically did they vibrate excessively or some other poor functionality?

The boost mirrors were fine. The upper lens had a bit of vibration but the assembly itself was rock solid. If you're interested I still have the Boost mirrors.

Not the best views but here’s a couple for your reference. I have been very pleased with the extra viewing angle these provide. I have a slight vibration in the drivers side but the passenger is rock solid.

I have the same add-on mirrors and the same vibration only on the drivers side.. Last time I used them and put them away, I found an instruction sheet that said the mirror could be tightened and/or replaced..

I bought the CIPA snap on mirrors for my 2019. Nice fit and finish, and keeps both the spot and ditch lights functional with cut-outs for em.

Power extending mirrors are far more likely to fail then ones that you need to pull out for trailer use. When I bought my new truck it came with standard mirrors. I told the dealer I wanted them swapped out for factory trailer mirrors before I would buy the truck. The dealer quickly agreed to do the upgrade. If I had waited it would have cost over $500 to make the change.

I can’t be convinced that these mirrors match the rest of the look of a stock truck:

Maybe it's a face only a mother can love. And since she's mine, I like her. I don't think I could ever go back to non-tow mirrors, especially with a 157wb and larger tires, and even if we didn't tow. They eliminate all blind spots in daily driving.

I do love the look of the factory tow mirrors, especially on the 157" trucks. But I'm pretty glad my used '19 came with the little mirrors. Just no reason to push all that air out of the way when you're not towing. It's a clear and obvious detriment to aerodynamic efficiency. Snapping on some aftermarket tow mirrors for the 10% or less of time (for most of us) when towing is super easy to do.

Thanks for the tip. This will help. I’ve been meaning to tinker with it and see if it could be tightened to minimize the vibration. It’s not bad but enough to fix.

Thanks, I may be if they have the features. Bliss, auto fold, puddle lamps and spot lights. Manual extend if fine because I don’t want to have to go through the sequencing to use it. I don’t have cameras.

I tow a 22 foot boat and camper I never had the OEM tow mirrors until I bought my 22 Lariat F150. I would HIGHLY recommend them. I can now see things behind my boat that I never could. Backing up is way easier.

I'm in the camp of people who feel the tow mirrors are a bit too large for the f150, and I rarely tow. My '21 lariat 502A came with the tow mirrors but as part of the negotiations, the dealership swapped them out for the smaller ones. I have the stock tow mirrors with all of the options (360 camera, power extend, etc) if anyone is interested. However, I live in Utah and I'm sure they would be a fortune to ship. They are large and not light.

I personally hate the look of tow mirrors.

They're fugly from the outside, but they're great from the driver's seat.

Thanks for the multiple views. Thoes look like the integrate well. For the casual tow I think they are great.
