I would feel way too bad taking advantage of someone for that price. Due to the great quality control and producing to spec from Ford's suppliers lately, that thing would fall out anytime I hit a bump larger than 1/2"

I never found them on ebay as I never looked. But, saw words to that in other threads here.

It seems it makes a great business card holder.

I am waiting for them to sell for $100 before digging mine out of a box somewhere deep in the depths of storage hell!

There is room behind the bezel. Just pop it off, route your wires, and pop the bezel back on

One thing to keep in mind... if you plug a MagSafe charger into the USB ports in the console below the Sync display then you will get a Sync4 warning that the device in the USB port is not compatible. (Or something similar). It still works, but the warning gets annoying after a while.

That's because it's expecting a phone with Airplay or Android Auto at the other end of the USB cable. The ports inside the center armrest are charge-only ports, so you don't get that warning.

Seems like it won't be too much additional effort to route the cable to the center armrest "charge only" ports, so I'll likely go that route.

I went with the atach mounts since i could still get get the knobs for controlling volume and climate and see the screen. i mounted the iottie clips to them but since then i switched out to a mag safe charger for them. they are totally awesome and have drivers side and passenger side also.

I have the Course for both the driver and passenger sides. I really like them a lot. The only partially blocked switch is the drive mode knob, but it isn’t difficult to still use it.

This isn’t the best pic, but you can hopefully see the pucks with the green light on the side.

I just use a simple iHome magnet that just clips on the vent next to the screen.

I use one of the cup holders in the center console. With the 2022 I can voice call out or receive an inbound call without needing to touch the phone.

If the truck did not have the factory navigation system I would add a Garmin 7 series truck and RV GPS unit and use the suction cup to mount it to the lower left corner of the windshield where I can look at it without taking my eyes completely off the road. The Garmin also provides for inputting the length of a trailer so when towing it adjusts the route accordingly and avoids routes where a U-turn is required.

I think it's ML3Z15045G74BA, but beware - they're about $200 new. Don't ask me why. Between that and the coin tray (Over $300!), Ford has some bizarre prices.

Since I will never use the trailer back up assist I removed the knob and got the delete cap. Attached the MagicMount Pro charge5 wireless charging phone holder to it. Clips right into place and routed the wire to the back outlet via the driver side center console trim. If I ever need to use the knob it is sitting in my glovebox.
