Does anyone have experience with bed slide trays?
I would appreciate any advice or recommendations.

I’ve had no replies to my original post except one thumbs up, so I’ll give it another try. Any experience or recommendations out there?

A friend of mine has one in his KR, long-bed, with a topper. It's about the only practical way to load and unload anything from the bed because of the topper (he's in his 70's). That's the extent of my experience, but it seems handy.

Thanks for that. I’m aLeo a septuagenarian and will not be doing heavy hauling but smaller individual items I.e. golf clubs, boxes, groceries, etc.. it appears that this will convenient for that kind of thing not having to reach into the bed.

I could definitely see the benefit, but I have nothing to offer as far as prices or brands. I have a shell and to avoid crawling on my knees if things slide to the back, I have a reacher/grabber that I keep velcroed to the side so I can push or pull things to the back, and I also have the bed extender/divider that flips. I got so tired of things (like groceries) rolling or falling "forward" into the bed so the divider is a lifesaver.

Having said all that, the bed slide solves both the above (when you have a shell) at the sacrifice of potentially huge things you may wanna carry, and also some payload.

I’ve seen that they now offer in all black which will blend nicely with my SQ Platinum, black interior, and spray liner. If it ever arrives!!

I have already ordered a decked system for mine, gives two drawers and some weather protection... but I plan a topper and may also put a cargo slide like this on top of it. Gonna wait and see once the topper is on

I have one in my 2012 f150 5.5 bed, and I love it. I will be installing one in my new 2021 f150 powerboost 6.5 bed.

My decked system is now in my garage.... someday I will own a truck again and it will be ready!
