I have a very similar setup and the recalibration worked fine on mine. No issues with any of the sensors, intelligent cruise, lane centering, or anything else.

Been driving the truck all weekend all sensors, intelligent cruise and land keep are all working. My speedo is off by 4km.

The Recalibration went good. Cost $149.99 Canadian before taxes. With the 4” lift and tires it was quicker then they expected. They told me 2hrs but it was only 45mins on the computer.

Yep, my speedo is off as well. Could fix it with forscan or I can keep driving it this way and show about 8% less miles then I actually have and let me warranties last that much longer. Its on the dealership as far as I'm concerned. They sold me the truck and they did the customization.

I’m about to pull the trigger on a 4” kit, but I’m wondering which rear block height everyone is using. The BSD instructions show both a 2” block (level stance) and a 3-1/4“ block (raked stance). With the stock block being 1-1/4“, I’m slightly confused by the 2” block only raising the rear by 3/4”.

The 2" block replaces the stock, they do not get stacked.

I understand they are not stacked. however, unless I’m not understanding something else, a 2“ block replacing a 1-1/4“ block nets a 3/4” lift in the rear, which doesn’t seem like much on a 4” lift kit.

Mine has the 3 1/4 and I cant see any rake in it.

Sorry I read that too quickly. Ok so that is misleading, on bds website they are referring to amount of lift. so the 2" options give you a 3 1/4" Block for 2" of lift.

If that’s the case, it‘s definitely a little misleading. At least now I know I want the 2” block kit, which is actually a 3-1/4“ block.

I am looking at doing the 4" BDS kit and want some thoughts on coilovers vs non coilover kit. Are the coilovers worth it for almost double the price?

Here is my attempt at a before and after. BDS 6” installed with BFG KO2’s (325x60x20). There was a small amount of trimming on just the plastic trim up front.

My opinion is it depends on your use of the truck and how you feel with the way it handles now.
If you are happy with the way it rides now the non-coilover kit will handle very similar with improved rear handling over bumps.

The coilovers will stiffin up the ride a bit, elimiate alot of body roll and slop the trucks come with and greatly improve the offroad performance.

No trimming, no rubbing.
That looks perfect! Nice job. Sealed the deal for me on the 2” and 275/70r18 on the stock sport wheels.

I went down the rabbit hole of “maybe just a little bigger” but really don’t want to give up the great mpg and road manners this truck has. I really just want my truck to have more of the “stock off-road” look and functionality. Kinda like a Tremor but without the goofy hood and grille, like what the FX4 should be.
