To be fair, the skid plates are plastic and the better suspension is actually worse. You do get the stickers and locking diff, but you might as well just buy the locking diff by itself.
The locking rear would cost you more than the FX4 package if added later.

And the suspension is better. I dont have the issues some here are explaining they have. It is an upgrade. I have put them to the test.
No, not the best. Can buy better 3ed party. But for the price, cant complain.

I will take plastic skid plates over no skid plates every day of the week.

Worst case, at a low proce point, FX4 holds you over until upgrades, if you chose.

BAP gets you nothing

FX4 if you like flushing your money down the toilet. FX4 "Better suspension" is a euphemism for rides like shit
I have fx4. Does not ride like shit.
Rides better than my 2019 4x4 ranger with upgraded rear shocks that i traded in

Locking dif with choice of gear is $420- $470.

The shocks are garbage. The non fx4 ride better and if you want to go off-road you can pass fx4 and go right to Bilstein or something else

BAP gets a LOT. Personally I don't like the changes and didn't want leather or the BAP 20s but if I liked them it's probably the best "deal".

Don’t you have a RCSB also? That might change the ride compared to the supercrews.

I do, but only FX4 i can comment on.

It was a bad blanket statement that FX4 suspension sucks.

What one person thinks is a bad ride, is a good ride to someone else.

.......And the whole people equating their opinion as a fact.

Now add tax and labor.

Your opinion that the suspension sucks does not make it fact.

I do just fine off road with stock FX4

And your opinion it being better does not make it a fact. Funny how that works?

What is a fact is you're paying $1095 for that option and if you want to go from 3.31 to 3.55 it still costs you, $470 I believe. You can skip fx4 all together and get 3.31 locking or 3.55 locking factory option, $420 or $470. Not aftermarket install, that may be the confusion.

So if you're going with 3.55 the sticker, plastic skid plate and different shocks is worth $1100. Have at it.

FWIW, my ‘22 XLT SCREW with BAP on 20s rides no different than my former ‘21 XLT SCREW FX4 on 20s.

3.55? 3.73 locker was $570.

Shocks alone put you over 1k.

Not to mention FX allowed me to check the all-terrain LT tire option. Got 5 generals. Yes 5. Same tire for. spare.

I would have paid 1k not to have pirelli's.

So you have a 5.0 as my 3.5 is only available with 3.55.

Fx4 1095
LT tires 295
3.73 locker 570

You're about 2k there.

You do know that the different shocks on the fx4 are rear monotubes, front is still a twin tube, right? I want to say Bilstein 4600 monotubes which are an upgrade over those are $170 shipped.

Look if you're happy with the fx4 great. You're not getting much in the fx4 package though. I like oem stuff and would rather not go aftermarket but $1100 and you're still paying for your locker upgrade so it's only getting you stickers, Plastic skid plate and some low level rear monotubes. If that's a deal ok. You're right though. You do have the option of spending another 300 for those Generals.

I have Goodyear 18s and if I had those LT Generals I'd have to pay to get rid of them too.

BAP over FX4 if you can't get both. For the cost, it's a great deal.
Do you get the rear locker in the BAP? That would be my only thing I'd not want to lose.
