I am debating buying a 2022 F150 Powerboost off the lot out of state. One has the FX4 package which I know comes with skid plates and the logos. Another has the BAP package which doesn't have skid plates. Is there any many difference in the actual tires or tires size between the two? I love how the BAP gets rid of the red interior. I live in Colorado and will eventually swap out the factory tires. Thanks for your two cents.

It's a wash there. There are some parts of the BAP you can't add or change yourself and the same goes with the FX4. That's why I got both lol

BAP is all appearance. FX4 gets skid plates, better suspension, locking rear diff.
I take FX over BAP everytine.

Blacked out has run its course and is palyed out.

Yes same tire size. Maybe 18s versus 20s but will be the same size tires. Depends on the options of the truck.

FX4 if you like flushing your money down the toilet. FX4 "Better suspension" is a euphemism for rides like shit

I would say it depends on which you like the looks of better. The Powerboost is going to come with a 3.73 locking rear diff, regardless. The "upgraded" FX4 shocks are a waste of time. I'm going to replace mine soon if I hold onto the truck. You can always add skid plates if that's a big deal to you. The tires are going to be the same either way, more than likely, unless the FX4 has 18" wheels...but still the same overall diameter I believe.

FX4 shocks suck on this gen truck. Better off with aftermarket shocks.

I got both FX4 and BAP... If I were to choose, I would go with the BAP. it is much harder to change to BAP later.. The BAP details really add to the appearance...

As others have mentioned, you can change the shocks later easily!

If i didnt want/have a 6.5' bed i would have tried to go for both. If i had one choice...i think i'd go with BAP because i like look of it.
