Makes it harder, but they can jimmy where the latches are at the sides, or open up the access panel.

On older trucks they could zap the lock from the harness under the bumper, but on Gen14 with it being a signal to the controller inside the tailgate itself this probably isn't a vulnerability anymore.

We have a 2018 wrangler JL ... I saw others had their LED taillights stolen with damage done when removing.
