I know b1578 dtc is 360 calibration.
I have 360 cameras.
Forscan log says service procedure completed successfully.
360 camera view is spot on. Centered in the parking lines.
But the DTC remains.

I know rugdraw will say ignore it. Lol
I'm anal and would like to clear it.

So a couple questions.
1. My truck bed camera is blue screen. I'm sure that's a hardware issue. It has been problematic and now consistently dead.
Does the bed camera have anything to do with 360?

2. What values should be in forscan?
I have telescopic factory mirrors.
Alot of custom forscan programming was done to the ipma and I don't want to reset learned values.

When I did the calibration I went less than 4mph. I never get the screen display mentioned in forscan. (Press the 360 button to display the progress)

Progress bar on forscan moves really slow, gets to about 15% and jumps to finished successfully. But the dtc remains..
I'm ok with living with it but I sure would like to verify the as built settings..

I regards to the bed camera, check what you have here and make sure CHMSL is enabled.

It was xdxx. I chose xfxx. Im getting a really really bad video. Lines, dark, wiggle. Looks like a bad connection.. makes sense because I had a load of something that I think bumped into the camera and stop light. Does that video go directly to the APIM? I tried to trace it in all data.

To @rugedraw 's point, my truck has this DTC for camera alignment, but Ford also suggests it's okay, see report from today. :crazy:

Mne is slightly out of alignment at the moment, see picture from last evening. I'll let you know if the DTC goes away once I run 360 alignments, but that won't be for a week or so due to related mods I'm implementing.

If you have a 0 there change it to a 8.

Question: When the calibration procedure is performed, is it supposed to write that 8 there upon completion to change that value to true?

I’ve had it happen and flipping that bit removed the DTC. I know it’s worked for someone else too. So I would say it’s worth checking. Spiffy probably has some other issues considering his bed camera doesn’t work.

I think he is going to flip something that will reactivate my auto park. And I need him to look at why I keep getting pscm dtc's. I don't see any adverse effects. I don't use auto park but when i sell it I would like it to work. I did use auto trailer guidance. At least my less experienced guys did. I can't get the trailer calibration to finish. That won't be something I will have Jesse look at.

What is the difference between hard button or soft button toggle? I have a hard button to get cameras then soft buttons to toggle between the different cameras.

Trying to see if this will help someone else with the same code. When I pull his a/b data, it shows he has a "B" there which I don't see on the spreadsheet. What does a B there mean?

Edit: Never mind......I had him pull the data with FORScan in case the data on Ford's was wrong and he shows a C there. I'll have him try an E since his 360 cams are all stitching nicely to see if that helps and report back.

I think soft button may apply to the Lightnings or vehicles with the 15" that don't have the hard button.
