B&O Unleashed sounds..meh

Listened to music in my truck (with Unleashed) and another Lariat 502A with just the basic B&O. To me they both sound the exact same. I barely hear anything from the headrests/headliner speakers. Might bring in the truck as this seems unusual considering all the positive reviews.

Its on surround mode with everything set to max and still its sounds basically the same as the basic B&O

I read something regarding an update for the amp and it making a difference. So will bring to the dealer this weekend and see

on pandora it kicks tail listening to the WHO or ACDC
toss in a bit of 2 live crew from back in the day OH me xxxx love you long time freakign sounds good through it, the headrest speakers are great for my left ear deaf problem.

Apple Music should make a different. It is higher resolution than Spotify.

I get the best sound with lossless files from USB drive. Apple Lossless audio does pretty well too.

I’ve now owned both systems

the corner speakers on the dash near the windshield are the biggest difference between the two systems

they do a lot of heavy lifting and are just not there on the standard b&o

the bass is also clearer and stronger unleashed

Maybe I am just overthinking it, but just in case I will be bringing in the truck this weekend On the speaker test some of the speakers sounded much quieter and some were borderline off (notably speakers 6, 7 and 14)

Yes, in my opinion surround is way better than stereo. I'm happy with the regular B&O.
