B&O Speaker upgrade?

Just got my 2022 Lariat with the B&O (non-unleashed) sound system, and find that it sounds muffled. I tried playing with the settings as others have done, but sound does not get better. I just traded in my RAM 1500 with the Alpine system and it sounded much better(yes, even when listening to SiriusXM).

I have read a lot of posts from people who say you need the Zen A2B in order to add an amp and get better sound. but I would like to know if anyone has tried just replacing the speakers with high-efficiency ones like the JL Audio C1, C2, or Rockford Fosgate R1675? I am not interested in spending a few $Ks on speakers and amps on a brand new $80K truck... Thanks.

I’m with you. My last truck was a ram and the alpine system was way better. My current truck I have has the B&O 8 speakers and it’s alright. I turned the bass all the way up and put it on surround and it sounds alright. My truck in production right now has the unleashed though! Night and day difference.
