If you upgraded, what brand did you go with and why?

Most add on systems, speakers are hard to upgrade as they are "usually" 2 ohm.

I've honestly never seen a problem.

It depends on mnaufacture. But to get most power of an amplified 9 or 12 channel amp, they will use 2 ohm drivers to maximize power. You can hook up 4 ohm drivers as a replacement, but they will see about half the amps power. So they may work, at less volume is all.
