If you’re referring to Granger wanting me to file warranty claims vs replacing the truck then yes, they wanted me to go that route. Filing a warranty claim with a local dealership meant that they didn’t have to do anything. Zach has never responded to any of my emails or phone calls. He’s pushed everything off on Chip and he’s currently on medical leave.
Nevertheless, they could have replaced the truck instead of making me go this route. Ford told me that the dealership had 90 days to request a replacement vehicle.
According to Ford customer service, the rental car reimbursement has been held up because they haven’t been able to get ahold of the proper person at the dealership.
I wouldn't bother debating with the Granger homers. The first time the paint issues should have been caught was before it left the factory (fail by Ford). The second time was when Granger did the PDI (fail by Granger).

I'm looking to order but the Ford website is kind of crappy. It'll hide stuff from you. Is it true if you select a 6.5ft bed on a platinum that you cannot get the 703A equipment group? Apparently the same if I select a 5.5ft bed and a color Ford doesn't want me to choose.

The 2025 doesn't have that pull out step with hand bar that helps us older folks get into the bed anymore either? I saw some videos of the 2024 and it pulls out of the tailgate and there is a bar you lift up that you can grab on to.

Ahhh, this basically: https://www.caranddriver.com/car-accessories/a38150777/ford-tailgate-step/

Is that now gone?

Wow, no 7.2kW pro power either?

It's interesting that the website takes you to the 2024s you can still buy apparently. I guess I just need to put a PDF together and let Granger help me finalize things where the website may be lacking. 2024 still shows max recline seats too.

@Granger Ford -- Will the Ford employee pricing offer affect what you guys can do in terms of pricing?

Now that my taxes are complete I have time to spec out and order. I'm looking at the platinum with a 6.5ft bed. You can't get a 703A equipment group apparently with that bed length, nor with a decent color. So I'm thinking that's probably out for me. But maybe that's not true?

I'm curious about (and would appreciate) other's opinions on things I'm on the fence about:

Offroad package. I don't plan to do any heavy duty off roading this is mainly to be a land yacht and comes with 4x4 already. The hill control sounds nice as do some of the other features like the skid plates. However since the majority of driving will be on the road perhaps I'll regret the shocks that come with this package.

I don't see damping in the order guide.

Didn't the 2024 platinum include some upgraded shocks for a smoother ride? (Yes, continuously controlled damping in the 2024 A2 equipment group, I don't see that in 2025 at all but maybe it's still there - and maybe the offroad shocks wouldn't remove this?) I have an incredibly back back so ride comfort is very important to me.

Edit: Continuous Controlled Damping was removed in 2025, perhaps because it made leveling a problem. I couldn't get that question answered from Granger (they are apparently very busy and I believe them; I found that info here: https://www.motortrend.com/cars/ford/f-150/)

Granger is apparently incredibly busy and aren't responding very fast.

I've dialed in a (great!) quote from them but I'm having a hellva time getting a few questions answered up front, the rest I've figured out eventually on my own from the order guide.

I'm just considering adding a few things mainly at this point. Maybe someone here like @Zach knows:

1. Is the 4% discount only for factory options and not the dealer installed options? I'm considering tossing in the spray in bed liner and Tonneau Pickup Box Cover – Retractable. (Is it hard to take that off if I want to use a temporary camper shell as well?)

2. I think I've heard people recommend the extended warranty for Granger orders but maybe in some cases/state it's a bad idea? I live in Texas.

I got the spray in bed liner, but that was done at the factory. I got the 4% discount on that. I'm very happy with it, btw.

I got my extended warranty with Granger. They were able to apply my ford points from the truck purchase towards it, and it was all part of my purchase price. As far as I know, the only states that are a challenge are FL and CA (and people report being able to work around the issues even then).

My Granger experience was fantastic - I hope it goes as well for you!

Thanks for the info LN7! So far it's great - just hard to get a response. I'm thinking maybe they are slammed with tariff panicans or something.

Pro Power Onboard – 7.2KW is in the order guide? I didn't see anything about it going away. I'm having trouble quoting but perhaps that's because I use the brave browser.

I thought I'd read that with the powerboost the 36 gallon gas tank gets reduced to 30 gallons in prior years, but it might be only 23 gallons now? I'm ordering the 6.5' box, Order guide:

Fuel Tank
— Standard Range 23 Gallon (Regular Cab 6.5’ Box)
— Extended Range 36 Gallon (Regular Cab (NA w/ 6.5’
Box), SuperCab and SuperCrew®)

I hope I'm just misreading a rather terse confusing document and I'm not going to be stuck with a 23 gallon tank.

When I look up my order status, it does say "Standard Range 23 Gallon Fuel Tank" for the PB engine. I really hope it's a mistake.

For what it's worth, my 2025 KR PB has a 30 gallon tank.
