At what point do unfulfilled orders transition to 2023 Model Year?

From what I understand, they don’t automatically transition. Your dealer would be responsible for changing to the new MY. I believe you could order ‘22 MY in October, so I would imagine that will be the same for this year, and the time you would want to have that conversation with your salesman.

That, my friend, is something that's on my mind. I just ordered my Platinum PB 701A with sunroof and adaptive steering this past Monday, but reading the threads here have made me a little blue. I'm really concerned Ford isn't goona get to mine until MY23.

I experienced this situation last year. I ordered a 2021 King Ranch 601A on Sep 16. The 2022 Order Banks opened sometime around Sep 29 to Oct 1. My dealer contacted me on Oct 1 to say my 2021 order was not selected for scheduling and asked if I wanted to reorder as a 2022. Reviewed the 2022 F-150 Order Guide to ensure I didn't need to change anything and gave the go-ahead. Ford later offered $3500 customer cash for resubmitted orders provided the dealer had registered both the 2021 and the 2022 orders in Ford's Customer Order Verification Program (COVP), which my dealer had done. Makes me a happy camper!

There are a couple of posts out there saying if you do not get a vin by sometime in july it will likely not be built. It looks like the last 22s will be built in October. According to the post i have read. My initial order was in aug 21 and the dealer contacted me in oct of 21 telling me that my order was converted to a 22 . They said and ford confirm that my vehicle was price protected at the 21 price and i did get the 3500 off for the truck be rolled into a 22. Right now still no vin so I'm starting to worry if it will be rolled into a 23.

The email i got last week shows my vin, if im decoding correctly, the 10th digit is M. Indicating a 23 according to the vin decoding website i was on. I ordered as a 22 March 4th.

If you just ordered on Monday, you ordered a MY23. Order banks have been closed for MY22 for almost 2 months. MY23 banks just opened.

You ordered a 2023. Not gonna be built before november.

If you just ordered on Monday, you ordered a MY23. Order banks have been closed for MY22 for almost 2 months. MY23 banks just opened.
