At what point do unfulfilled orders transition to 2023 Model Year?

Since Ford is running so late with truck orders, is there any chance they would delay the start of 23 models until they finish all the 22 orders?

You read my post from March 31st where I said I had just placed my order that Monday which would put it at March 28th which is most definitely a MY22. Why would you tell me I ordered a MY23?

Your right, but they didn’t close the order banks early either. At this point Ford knows how many 22MY trucks are left to build. If they have the parts they can build 50k a month right? If they delayed starting on 23MY one month maybe they could clear most of the remaining 22MY trucks. Anyway, just a thought. I know the logistics for model year change over takes some time.
