Are Raptor tailights black?

I've been looking for some Raptor, Tremor, or BAP tail lights for my truck and I ran across these. Are they custom painted or is the "red" normally this dark on them? I've only ever seen this one like this so I'm guessing it's custom "painted" or tinted.

They tinted the red surround on a raptor or BAP package truck without messing with the inside factory black paint.

That’s much darker than my BAP tail lights . Guessing it was done after market, here is a pic of my BAP tails

I figured that was the case. They are only selling one so it's not worth it at all. The person probably has no clue that it's custom and doesn't have the other one.

You can see the other light in the picture. Looks like the lense is broken off.

Was planning to do this to all my lights on my BAP. It's honestly not that difficult not a process. Although I have an unatural hatred of red and always do everything I can to get rid of all red on my vehicles.

I found it on eBay, but as someone else noticed you can see the other one broken sitting next to it.

I wouldn't buy it as matching it would be a giant PITA.

Well I have a rapid red pb...lol. however I think the blackened taillight would look better on the rapid red than the normal red.

I want to say the 13th gen tail lights had a darker red around the outside which I think looked better. Actually I think I just liked the 13tg gen tail lights better over all.

You could then just install a tint film over the red to darken them.

I thought about this but it looks like the lightnings have the shape of the 13th gen tail lights but a different look/layout.

I hate to assume the worst, but the amount of hot items on FB marketplace that is seemingly ignored has me jaded.

I’m trying to say that F150 tails are being stolen frequently and therefore “hot”

I don’t want to assume that’s the case with these, but people trying to lift and move “hot” items tend to make haste during the procuring process and care less about damaging lenses like the one you pointed out,
