A am a bit of an audiophile and trialed Tidal last month, to take advantage of my B&O Unleashed system (which I like). To me, Tidal sounded a bit better than Apple Music, but I acknowledge it may be a mental bias. At any rate, I had decided it wouldn't be worth it to continue paying for both Apple Music (for me and my family) and Tidal ($30/mo for the top tier), so I'm jetting Tidal. Now, with this news, I should get the benefit of Tidal's perceived better sound using Apple Music. Good news, and at no additional cost.
