Looking good. The tires you chose will probably be my next set, after my Mickey Thompsons wear out.

If you really want to drop your trans temps, Velocity sells a trans cooler kit for the 10r80 that is highly recommended. I'm seriously considering one for my pickup

I ordered a bunch of stuff:
  • RC Hidden Winch Mount from the <2020 MY, apparently I can just redrill the mounting holes and it works
  • Warn connector extension with bracket, for clean mounting solution
  • Ford Performance side vents in black
  • Ford Performance door sills
  • Spicer rear diff cover with Lube Locker gasket
  • Husky floor liners (Shocked the truck didn't come with any)
  • Husky sunshade
  • Cravenspeed stubby antenna
My truck came with the OEM floor mats, but not carpet mats. Personally I would rather have the rubber liners to protect the carpeted floor liner. Sorry Im late to the party, but loving the build… I hope you don’t mind if I steal some ideas from you.

great build sir! I really like how everything flows togeather. We have very similar trucks, however I have the 2024 3.5 Ecoboost FX4 in Carbonized Grey Black Out Edition. I have thought about doing an overland build and would like to pick your brain on the matter If you don’t mind. Anyway, great build and thank you very much for sharing.

how did you mount the Rough County Hidden Winch Mount? Did you need to modify it? is it from a Later model? I dont see one for a 2024

It's a 13th gen mount. I had to redrill it and trim the frame horns.

Extremely minor update. Drilled a few holes in the front fender liners and zip tied them back. I was getting rubbing full lock in reverse with pitch/ angle.

I think I'm rubbing on my oversized front mudflaps. I can trim those though.

EDIT: I was rubbing on the front mudflaps in reverse, full lock down hill (Bushing deflection).

Next overland trip will be for an extended President's day weekend, unsure where yet.

Love the Polestar V60!

I've been a Volvo fan ever since my dad bought his first 850 wagon back in the 90's. I've only owned a 240 with those sweet five spoke turbo wheels. That car loved to do clutch dump burnouts though.

If you're looking for suggestions for a long weekend from north GA....I'd suggest heading north into the Nantahala National Forest up in NC. I spent a week in the border area and there are lots of cool spots out there and the further you get away from towns the better your chances are of finding a campsite without any distractions this time of year.

Thanks!

I've driven through there, but have never done a trip there. Great suggestion!

Bought a minty fresh Mach 1. Two years ago I had bought a new 2023, but it got totaled in transport. Literally fell off the truck.

Mach 1 is peak mustang imo. Screens in new ones are awful and the "improved" steering rack doesnt do the trick outside of the dark horse. The toggle switches are awesome in the 6g.

Agreed! Mach 1 is peak.

Dark Horse is cool and all but it would be $20k more than this 3,000 mile Mach 1.

DH is too damn expensive for a Mustang.
