Anyone's dash doing this?

I know the previous gen F150's had a lot of dash warping issues, but is it an issue with the 21s? My searches yielded nothing, but my dash tells me otherwise.

I haven't seen any posts prior to yours regarding this, I've been following this forum daily for almost 2 years now. My truck was built 4/24/21 and has never been garaged. Ill take a look at mine tomorrow to see how tightly mine fits.

The cover may have broken retaing clips, or has just popped lose. Try to smack it back down. If that doesn't work and it is warped it's easily replaceable.

I'm SO glad to not see or hear of this before this post. It was such a nightmare for the Gen13 XL/STX/XLT dash. And even if yours only warped a little, you could never un-see it.

Some guys forked over for the thicker panel on the Lariat+ trim because the plastic/synthetics were thicker.

I sure hope it is just a busted clip and/or an outlier. That photo gave me a chill. And not a good one.

It's the defrost grill, I'll look it up tomorrow, you probably should get a bag of the clips as well as they often break and can't be reused. I'll get the to.

Maybe that is why the engineers thought they could be all cute and turn off the recirculation button to save the dash from deforming.

I'm not actually sure, if it doesn't you can reuse yours and / or if there broken, you'll need to purchase some. There are 16x of them on the cover, Ford sells them in bags of 4x so you'll need 4 bags to replace all. These clips are used all over the place on these trucks it doesn't hurt to have some extras around. Especially if your annoyed by rattles and squeaks like I am. Looks like there about a buck a bag on Varsity Ford Parts.com
