Just curious if anyone tried a welder on the pro7.2. Was it tempermental? 120 or 240? What model welder? Stick or wire. I would like to try a miller 211 wire welder. It can run 120 or 240. I think on 240 it would be a good match for the pro7.2. Hope someone has some experience with this.

Don't have the answers you seek, but I watched this video and they did try welding with the 120v.

My welder would not scratch start when stick welding 120v. Dash console indicated error but I don't remember what it said, sorry.

I used (tested) the Lincoln Electric MIG 180 (240V) and it worked. I could not get the Lincoln AC/DC ARC 225 stick welder (240V) or the Century FC 90 (120V) wire feed to run a bead. -- Did not trip any breakers but got message on screen "Pro Power Onboard service required." "Please contact an authorized dealer for service." 1st visit they reprogrammed system - didn't work. 2nd visit replaced inverter - didn't work. Finally tried 3rd welder before 3rd visit and the LE MIG 180 works off powerboost.
