What credit union?

That is correct but you get another $500 rebate for taking a little higher interest rate. It was about $10 a month cheaper that way for me. Total cost is what I look at.

Does this mean that you used X-plan pricing, but were still able to get an additional $1100 off on top of still using x-plan? Because everything I read, and my dealer told me, most things like the first responder and dealer discounts do not stack with x-plan. I know manufacturer incentives and PCOs do stack. And if you were able to get a dealer to stack discounts that I didn't think were previously stackable I'd love to try to convince my dealer to do it!
All Ford provided incentives should be vaild with X-Plan. Only dealer incentives normally do not stack. PCO's, Cashbacks, Financing Incentives, Trade In money, etc... should all stack with X-Plan. Says so in the X-Plan documentation. I'd go in with a copy when you finance and drop it on them if they try and mess with you.

Yes, the discounts were on top of the x-plan.
$500 First Responder
$1000 Ford Financing
$1100 Random dealer discount

My truck should be in this week and I’ve also heard rumors of feb 15 starts Ford truck month. But honestly every piece of news is saying these trucks are flying off the lot. I just don’t see anything crazy for lariat and up trims. Hopefully I’m wrong.

I have perfect credit and Ford gave me 6.79% - to me that was a slap in the face. But I took it for the $1,000 off!! Within 30 days, i'll pay it down to two payments, then pay those over the remaining 60 days so dealer is happy and I'm happy. Win win.

I am kinda shocked it’s so bad. My friends have recently gotten Tesla’s and financed through them directly and got less than 2% for long term loans.

Damn, 8% is just so dumb for a new vehicle with over 800 credit score lmao

I am getting $1,600 rebate on my truck through Ford. The dealer, however, told me that you have to make 6 payments before the truck can be paid off without early penalties. I am going to be doing the math and reading the fine print closely. I don't want a note on my truck, but I do want my $1,600.

The dealer may be feeding you a line so that they get their financing kickback.

My dealer told me no pre-payment penalty, just have to finance a minimum of $10k. No credit application fee either.

In my case (for my region) it's a $1,900 financing rebate at 8.9%. I'm going to finance the $10k minimum and pay it off in the first month, so minimal interest.

You can pay it off whenever you want. Dealer makes money if you wait 90 days. If you want to help the dealer, keep the loan for 90 days. If you don't care, pay it off as soon as you want. You don't need to wait regardless of what the Dealer says.
