I just did last week, 5.4 with perfect credit. Headed to credit union next week, 1.9 for 63 months, 2.5 for 75 and 3.5 for 84Has anyone recently financed through ford to get the $1000 cash back? What rates are they offering for perfect credit? The website only says 8.9% which seems insane and not sure if it’s even worth applying lol
Okay that makes me feel a bit better. Do credit unions give you “new” auto rates when technically refinancing after 1mo with Ford credit?I just did last week, 5.4 with perfect credit. Headed to credit union next week, 1.9 for 63 months, 2.5 for 75 and 3.5 for 84
My credit union will give me a “New” auto loan with no additional charges.Okay that makes me feel a bit better. Do credit unions give you “new” auto rates when technically refinancing after 1mo with Ford credit?
Also are there additional charges to refinance? Trying to make sure if I go this route nothing unexpected slaps me in the face.
thanks!
Very interesting. I have PenFed - I wonder if they would do something similar.I just did last week, 5.4 with perfect credit. Headed to credit union next week, 1.9 for 63 months, 2.5 for 75 and 3.5 for 84
The absolute worst rate I’ve been given is 3.75 for 84Very interesting. I have PenFed - I wonder if they would do something similar.
I financed with the dealership to get the lower cost, but will be moving the loan to our local credit union to get a much better rate.My dealer gave me a couple options to either Finance through Ford to get a lower out the door cost for my truck with a higher percentage rate (to get the kick back from the bank) or pay a higher out the door cost with a lower percentage rate. I didn’t want to go through the hassle of refinancing so I got my truck financed through Wells Fargo at 2.94% for 72 months at the slightly higher price. I Found out that it was a win-win because I haven’t found a better out the door price then the truck I got.
Yeah, I wasn't expecting that rate. Even more surprising was my dealer gave me an extra $1100 off x-plan plus the $1000 Ford financing offer. With the First Responder discount, that equated to $2600 off. Gotta give it to Jerry's Ford in Leesburg, VA for taking care of me. Excellent service!!Shoot I’ll be looking for a similar rate then. Appreciate the info! CUs around me advertise 3-3.5 for 72 around here so 3.9 isn’t half bad compared to them.
Damn! I’m glad you got a good deal man. Show some pictures of what you got!Yeah, I wasn't expecting that rate. Does this mean that you used X-plan pricing, but were still able to get an additional $1100 off on top of still using x-plan? Because everything I read, and my dealer told me, most things like the first responder and dealer discounts do not stack with x-plan. I know manufacturer incentives and PCOs do stack. And if you were able to get a dealer to stack discounts that I didn't think were previously stackable I'd love to try to convince my dealer to do it!Yeah, I wasn't expecting that rate.
