A snap ring is used for the spring seat and there is a 2" and 2 1/2" setting on the Ford Performance where as the Bilstein 6112 has 5 positions ranging from 0" - 2 1/2". The diameter of the strut bodies are different as well - FP F: 2.65" R: 1.8" VS Bil F: 2.36" R 1.8". The valving is supposed to be tweaked to be less universal and more F150 specific. The reason that it's listed as not fitting the Tremor is because the Tremor has a factory height of 2" over a regular 4x4. If you use the FP strut you are putting a strut that has a higher preload to achieve the lift to maintain your same height. Plus aftermarket companies are starting to come out with Tremor specific parts. I've seen a Tremors on this Forum with a leveling kit on 35's.
