Any update on a Trailer TPMS system?

When I search by PN at parts.ford.com, comparing

• LC3Z-1A189-A (cam+TPMS with Pro Backup Assist per description above)
• LC3Z-1A189-D (cam+TPMS without Pro Backup Assist per description above)

the price is the same for both ($910.00 MSRP; $819.00 from my local dealer).

Long ago I ordered and installed LC3Z-1A189-A (cam+TPMS with Pro Backup Assist); it had everything needed for cam+TPMS and did not include a yaw sensor module (which was fine by me).

Leaves me wondering what, if anything, is different between those two combo kits ....

So after replacing rear bumper harness. And then adding 5 wires to the harness (2 can bus for TPMS, and 3 video for aux camera) from c316 under hood through the firewall to under the dash c242c and c238. Couple forscan changes and I now have trailer TPMS and Aux camera working on my 302A non-360 equipped truck. So it it possible to do without the 360 IPMA.

At the IPMA c242C add pins #8, #9, #18. I used terminal's part # WT-1002. under hood connector is c316. pins #2, #3, #4. i used terminal part #WT-1013

Do you know what terminal part # is needed when adding the 2 TPMS pins to C316? I believe they are pin number 43 and 44. WT-1013 is too large.

For pins 43 and 44 I used WT-1012 and also for pins 25 and 26 of c238 which you’ll probably need to do as well

The truck side harness with the 12 pin connector on my August built 2024 XLT with tow package and 360 degree cameras is a new revision. The part number on the harness tag is RL3T-13A576-AFG. In this harness, C439 (the truck side 12 pin connector) has wiring to 10 of the 12 terminals. The new wire is pinned to terminal 11 and is a blue wire with a white stripe. It is a heavier gauge than the other wires. Does anyone know what its for?

Hello all. New member here, long time lurker. i have read the entire thread and made my purchase believing it was the correct one. I have a 2021 F150 502A with the max trailer tow package. I have added a Borla Dual Exhaust and know there is some kind of difference for single vs dual.



I purchased the camera/TPMS kit and wire kit:



ML3Z-13A576-TFA



LC3Z-1A189-A



Unfortunately the wire kit has been out of stock for two months. According to some parts websites ML3Z-13A576-TFA has been replaced by ML3Z-13A576-PK. Can anyone confirm if ML3Z-13A576-PK is the new wire kit I should order? Thanks!

I do not have the answer, but it is good to see they included the C439 connector at all in your build. My 2024 Lariat 501A with 360 cameras and tow package did not even have the C439 and I had to repin the C423 and make my own patch cable with a Molex C439.

This is a photo of the truck side of my C423 connector and I can see this blue/white wire in pin 33 (just left of the lower right corner). I assume that's the same one.

However, there is nothing on the Super duty camera+TPMS+yaw set that I installed that would use this additional wire. Perhaps newer camera packages have something additional.

I tried stickers on my previous trailer (21') and the yaw sensor on my current one (26'). The yaw sensor is better that stickers because the truck doesn't lose the connection (it loses sight of the stickers) but it's easier to just hold the steering wheel at the bottom.

If you find a cheap kit on eBay and it includes the yaw sensor, by all means install it. Maybe you'll find some advantage. But I wouldn't pay more to get it. You won't miss anything if you don't.

Have you seen any information to suggest they have? The camera is pretty low quality. The perspective makes everything much smaller than it would appear in a rear-view mirror, or even as it appears in the 360 cameras.

It’s the full kit in bag

Ideally I’d prefer to find just the module itself since I already have the wiring for TPMS/CAM/YAW so I could just attach & plug in but can’t find anyone selling it without the wiring/dummy port.
