Hmm... @nkyhunter, mine has no indicator of temp. Maybe because I didn't drive it, yet? I only got it configured in the storage lot. What FORScan settings did you change?

Edit: my truck is an XLT 301A. Perhaps the instrument panel doesn't support that?

I learned a bit more. Another forum (ford-trucks) has a thread about TPMS with heat in their Super-Duty subforum. Apparently, temp display was introduced in 2022. One of the owners there state that sensors from 2019 display temps in a '23, so it's the truck, not the sensor.

Does anyone know how to enable that in a '21 XLT with 8" Sync? Is it even possible? I mention the 8" Sync because that matters for displaying digital transmission temps. Apparently that can be enabled on a 12" screen (like I did on my 8" 2016 Lariat) but not on a Gen 14 8" screen.

So after replacing rear bumper harness. And then adding 5 wires to the harness (2 can bus for TPMS, and 3 video for aux camera) from c316 under hood through the firewall to under the dash c242c and c238. Couple forscan changes and I now have trailer TPMS and Aux camera working on my 302A non-360 equipped truck. So it it possible to do without the 360 IPMA.

I was finally able to get my camper wired up. The yaw sensor for backup and the camera work! I just need to get the TPMS sensors into the tires but I'm sure that system works because it complained about not seeing sensors.

Does anyone know if there are different quality cameras in this setup from Ford? Mine doesn't seem as good as BritCanuck's screenshot above... Still better than the cheapo wireless camera I was trying to use before getting my new truck and finding about this system.

Bummer.. I was worried that was the case. I've never got mine to work but the tire monitoring is nice. time to trade her in on a 360 equipped truck lol
I had to add 3 wires to the harness and a couple forscan changes to enable the aux cam. And the camera works on my non-360 truck. My truck also didn’t have the wires in harness for TPMS can bus. So I had to add those too. Your truck had the can bus wires so it’s possible the aux cam wires might be there. In which case you would just need to make forscan changes to get it to work. IPMA is easy to look at so you could check the grey connector for wires. Mine only had 3 originally

Any idea which connector I should be looking at? There is a long grey one with only 2 wires populated.

Yea its the long grey one. yoyre missing the wires too. I had to add the 3 wires to that coonector and run under hood to get the camera to work.

Is this the wiring diagram for the Grey plug? I'd assume 6, 9, 10 if this wiring diagram is correct

Great so pin out 3 missing spots on C242C (which ones by the way) and pull them through to the underhood harness/connection. Do you happen to know the underhood connector name and its pin locations? What about the pin/connector style for the 22 gauge wires? I really appreciate your help. I've wired a few cars from scratch including pinning out an ECU but I don't want to screw up my truck

The "Individual Trailer Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS)/Customer Placed Trailer Camera" is an option on the MY24 trucks with 360-Degree Camera package and tow package.

Does anyone have the part number for this kit?
