Any regrets going from 20 to 17s or 18s??

I keep going back and forth from keeping the factory 20s and going to 34s or going with a 285 or 295, 17-18 inch equivalent.

I'm 90% street and 10% off-road (forest service roads and construction site, no real rock crawling), spread out throughout the year in WA.

I don't have direct experience as I stayed with 20" rims, but I did look at the math on this when considering. There is essentially no weight penalty between 18 and 20" rims, which I found surprising.

Sure, wheels are venomrex 17 by 9 +12 and a 285/75R17 Toyo AT3 tire.

That is with the front tire turned, I can get more recent pics this weekend.

This is with my last set of mudflaps, I have full tire coverage now.

My factory STX 20s weighed 78-79lbs per corner. The new set up weighs 83.6 lbs at each corner and that was upping the tire size to 34s!

I was looking at wheels and stumbled upon these I think they look amazing, also I’ve. Ever seen them on a vehicle before so that’s a plus!

My only regret is not doing it sooner. The ride is so much better on the smaller rims with a bigger sidewall.

With the -6 offset how far out from the fender does the tire poke out?

I was relly trying to stay +12 to +25, but looking at your truck it barely looks like it's past the fender lol.

I currently have 34's (LT295/60R20) on 20's. Ride with the E rated tires and Ford Performance Bilstein suspension is firm but not objectionable. Anything less then 20's look small to me on these trucks, but to each thier own.
