My "21" is very similar.

After 11,000 miles I still can't get over how damn fast it is.

That 10 speed luls you into driving like it's just powerful enough to stay out of its own way. THEN you stomp on it to pass someone and before you can even blink, they're in your rearview mirror!

I like the grunt you get when the engine digs in a bit.

Making me 2nd guess any kind of exhaust mods as it gives a nice growl when you get into it but still nice and quiet all other times.

Nothing but love for regular cabs! Keep the pictures coming!

I picked up '21 Reg. cab long bed July '22. Rapid Red 2.7L Ecoboost, 4wd. Dealer put a leveling kit, did all the modifications to fit the larger wheels and tires, spray in bedliner, tints and hood deflector. It's the fastest vehicle I've owned, half decent on fuel and I like keeping the regular cab configuration alive. Knowing what I know now I may order another with a few added options but for now this hits the spot. I'll post some better pictures tomorrow.

My first two trucks were regular cabs, and I would love another one. The issue is that the automakers have decreed that "regular cabs are for the poors" and refuse to offer basic convenience packages or upper level engines on them. In terms of "luxury", a regular cab is hot or cold in 3 minutes no matter what is happening outside. With heated/vented seats, phone remote start and a heated wheel, it's very hard to be uncomfortable in one.

It’s actually more ridiculous than that; no poor people will be buying a fully optioned regular cab XLT that approaches the cost of the base crew cab Lariat. It’s that the manufacturers don’t want you getting a regular cab at all. XLT engine options cost $1K more than Lariat trim trucks and 4X4 on the XL costs $5K, while XLT and Lariat are just under $4K. My truck would have been cheaper as a Lariat if that were an option.

Even the base RWD 3.3 XL RCSB is more than the Lariat Maverick and around the same price as the XL crew cab RWD Ranger.

Where it gets interesting is that once you add 4X4 and 5.0 V8 to the XL you are $7K more than the 4X4 Ranger and about $500 more than the base V8 Mustang GT!

I simply don't understand Ford's logic. If someone wants a loaded regular cab sell it to them. People shopping for a regular cab aren't necessarily searching out the cheapest truck but simply what they need. I have a regular cab because I have no need for 4 doors. I would've gladly paid more for a fully loaded regular cab...but what do I know...I'm just the consumer
