Ahhhh You're using the wrong USB port bud. Use the USB or USBC inside the cubby where the wireless charger pad is located. Problem solved. Keep us posted

Thanks man. I'll have to get that port wired up then. Original owner only did the dash ports when he installed the center console.

Gotcha. Perhaps someone else can help ya locate that needed input for sync. In my platty, I have usb on dash (like you're using) in glove box, rear and in the area I circled in red. The one circled in red is the only input that works for the box in my truck. It's for "wired android auto/car play". Point I'm making is not just any USB will work. Need to make sure the correct USB is active and used. We're getting closer though to making it all happen.
