Amber/Orange DRL halos and fogs

Looks good. So they are strips? Or LED boards?

I see a few aftermarket companies that do the RGB boards. Gotta take apart your housings and add them.

The Diodedynamics fog lights Spacewhite posted look nice too, but I don’t know how well they would match Raptor headlights.

I would take apart my fog lights, but not my headlights. I would just get Raptor headlights.

Strips, two in the headlights and one in the fogs. You have to tear them apart regardless to change anything. Had them done a year ago professionally and zero issues.

It would be extremely difficult IMO to match the fogs to a factory raptor drl as you'd have source the same led board and wire it up if you wanted the turn signal as well. Without the board you'd have to run a stand alone controller to try and match it the best you can.

Do they come on and off just like stock but now are amber instead of the white? Or is there some aftermarket switch deal?

That might be the sweetest pair of headlights I have seen. What does something like that cost to do?!!? I shouldn't ask because I know it's going to be way too expensive for me, but if it's close to what I could get for one of my kidneys, I'm in.

Thanks! Cost about $1200 for everything, but that was opening the headlights and foglights, adding the RGB stips to all of them, the drivers and controller for them all, then blacking out the headlights as well.

Here, I'll add to your addiction... Ya, for a couple days after I got them all hooked up, I would just stand out here and play with the different colors and combinations for way too long haha.

I'm in the middle of this right now. Swapping from bi-led (quad led) reflector to raptor on my 302a. I will be trying to get drl as turn to work, then deal with the high beam functionality with a new hcm.

Diode brackets as well! Though, I'm not sure how long I will be keeping them as I might go aftermarket bumper.

I was just able to get drl and signal working. Stoked on how it's turning out!

You would put the pods in the bumper?
Do the brackets vibrate at all?

Right. The pods could transfer over but the mounting points would be different so I wouldn't need the brackets anymore.

they are super solid actually.Very overbuilt.

Wait a minute. Are you saying that you bought Raptor LED headlights with the amber DRLs and installed them in your 302a? I didn't think that they would fit with the different hoods and grilles from a non raptor f150. I was thinking about getting the Diode Dynamics but they are backordered for 12+ weeks. Right now my truck is apart for other stuff in the shop so I was hoping to do this sooner.

Yeah they fit perfectly. Exact same profile as the other f150 lights. I much prefer the oem drl bar to what diode did. They were a close second for me

That's so awesome. Did you buy the 2021 raptor lights? Have a part #? I am totally doing this. Then it looks like you had to mess around in Forscan to get them to work properly?
