AlphaRex LUXX Headlights

My headlight install was about 4 hours, half of that time though was finding my box of plastic snap connectors and tools (I never did break a snap connector), having to take the valance off a second time because I forgot to screw the lower pair of grill bolts and updating the Fordpass app to find the fuse box diagram for wiring the DRL box. If I had to do it a second time, it’s probably a 45min. job.

Be careful with those four small valance screws in the fender well. I was using a stubby driver and still popped the head off one. Luckily, there’s enough to grab with a vise grip when I get a replacement.

Also, the front camera connector clip was pretty brittle and I snapped that trying to gently wiggle it.

I popped some of those darn plugs helping son add LEDs to his car...ran to Advanced, $9.00 for 4...

ordered 200+ piece off Amazon, assorted sizes for $12.00......uugghh

Have the AR Luxx projector for my LED reflector stock headlights. I ordered the LED reflector OEM kit from AR, per their website, to swap out. The DRL tap to fuse box that comes with the headlights is straightforward but no clue what I'm supposed to do with the extra kit. Anyone to offer advice?

Even a pdf attachment for install would help, my firewall is blocking access to their site and of course, I have the front of my truck peeled off

Nevermind, figured it out.
The DRL kit that comes with them is for halogen. The LED reflector kit is only needed if you have it OEM. No tapping fuses, much easier plug n play.

Been rocking both Luxx headlights and tails. Couple complaints: brighter DRL and chips for the headlights or ditch the chips altogether and allow for upgrading LEDs of your choice. I had the Pro series on my '18 with aftermarket LEDs and loved the output. The tails are hella finnicky. They have a mind of their own turning on. The reverse LED should be brighter. I love the look and design of the Alpha Rex but miss my stock halogen housings with LED upgrades and the amount of light output they provided.

Would where we fuse tapped for drl be considered an ignition power source?

Bumping this thread for some feedback. Paid a pretty penny to purchase and ship these lights here. Been on the truck for a little over 6 months and already these are failing. I really love the look of these over other brands and OEM styles. Just disappointed in the quality build of the "electrical" parts of these assemblies.

Last week my startup sequence on my driver side headlight started to act wonky, a few days later started to flicker, where now it doesn't go through the sequence at all when I unlock nor glow white while the auxillary lights stay on. Oddly enough, DRL still works when driving, blinker still works, dims when lows are on and will flash amber when locking. The tails are still finnicky but will eventually turn on after a few on/off toggle of the switch.

Man that stinks to hear. I know the OEM ones are are expensive and perhaps not as attractive as others but I think the quality is much better.

Sadly I got mine through Amazon. Didn't register them and I've read comments (not just on here) that AlphaRex doesn't honor any warranty claims if not purchased direct.

Wish I could help and knew a way to fix them. You might be able to find a used one on FB Marketplace or Ebay. I just noticed you are in Hawaii so that really limits your options for something local.
