Great looking set ups! I should get my truck in the next week or two and I’m wondering if anyone can tell me if BFG KO2’s 285/75/17 will work on stock 17’s with 2.5” front level kit. I’m adding a rear leaf kit as well. Thanks!
Follow up:

Level kit and leaf installed. 285/75/17 Hercules Terra Trac TG Max(listed on Hercules website at 34.1”) fit great with no rubbing anywhere.

For those of you running +1 offset do you notice any chips, dings, etc on the side of your truck from overspray?

2.25" Readylift Level, 20x9 Fuel Rebel 6 with +1 offset, 295/60/20 BFG KO2 tires. Had to remove the front crash bar and trim the lower valence plastic just a little, but a 34" tire fits.

So, that settles it - I'm definitely ordering up a set of Rebel 6s especially after seeing how good they look on your truck! Since I get out on the local mountain trails every chance I get I'm thinking a smaller diameter than the 20s almost everyone runs on our trucks but I'm sure they'll look just as sharp in 18" -

I've got rock chips on my fenders and I'm running the stock STX 20" rims with the +44 offset on 275/60/20s. And that's from driving on caliche roads at 10 mph. IMO the only way to avoid overspray is fender flares of some kind.

Also...you guys are a bad influence. Or at least that's what I said to my wife when I told her I had just ordered new rims. Arriving tomorrow, 20x9 +20 Fuel Rippers in matte black. Should look tight against that Lead Foot paint.

when I added 35's on my Ram, I had local tint shop add the clear bra, small behind each tire, was like $180 for front and just behind rear. Couldn't see it.

I'm considering that. Also considering a full ceramic coat. I've had this truck for 7 weeks and already have rock chips. But hey...it's a truck, right?

Nice looking rig, btw

thanks, yes the ceramic is worth it, but wont stop rock chips. But you may be able to buy some protective film and do yourself, after I saw them, I was like, heck that looks easy LOL

thank you!

Like I said, you guys are a bad influence. I was really fixated on the new Shelby wheels, but didn't like them THAT much more than the stock STX 20s. Then I saw these Fuel Rippers and didn't hesitate. 20x9 with +20 offset, with the 275/60/20 Cooper Discoverer ATP III tires that were already on the truck. Very, very little poke. Loving the look. The truck already had the Rough Country 2" strut/shocks lift. The new wheels totally change the way the truck sits now (which I realize makes no sense, but it just looks different).

Think I'm pretty much done with this truck. Need to tint the windows and that's about it. Hopefully.

2022 F150 XLT 5.0 (302A HIGH+ BLACK PACK)
Tire Size: 285/75R17 10E Nitto Ridge Grappler
Rim Size: 17x8.5" ET0
Level: Supreme Suspensions 2.5" leveling puck

I hope this helps! I absolutely love the setup and have zero regrets.

Beautiful setup. With my XLT 5.0 on order exploring the possibility of fitting 315/70/17 tire with with Bilstein 6112s set at 2.5" lift setting.

Your 2.5" lift is very similar and looks amazing, I already know that 285/75/17 will fit without any issues, BUT really want 315/70/17 on my truck. Do you think there is enough space in there to fit a slightly larger tire without any rubbing?
Im also contemplating SPC UCAs, they allow for some adjustments inside the wheel well.

I am about to order wheels tonight and I'm glad I found this thread. I notice virtually EVERYONE has a level, and I don't really want that. I don't mind the rake and want to keep fuel economy as decent as I can since I am going to add some weight and drag with new wheels and tires...

So if I buy a 20X9 +20 offset and put 275/60/20's will it rub with a totally stock suspension and ride height?

I am learning day by day, but am a novice at this tire stuff. I thought I would be golden since there is an OEM with the same diameter wheel and tire, but I'm worried the offset difference of 24mm might cause me problems or look silly.

Any help greatly appreciated

TIA

ps...

While I am posting...another quick ?

I don't get the willtheyfit website. I was comparing two tires, same wheel offset, width, and diameter.

One tire was a 275/60/20. The other was a 296/60/20.

It showed the same poke. It doesn't matter how much I change they width of the tire while keeping everything else constant. It always shows identical poke. How would the width of the tire NOT affect poke? What am I missing?

275/60 will fit without a level and zero issues. +20 offset on a 9inch will stick out a little bit but not bad at all. The 14th gens seem to stick out about half inch more it seems to me vs my 2018 which had same set up.

Thanks @9663mu

I didn't want to pay all that money for wheels and then not be able to use them. I've seen quite a few posts with even bigger tires that fit on not leveled trucks, but all of them ride on stock +44 rims, so I wasn't sure.

I am at stock height and have the following installed:

20x9 Fuel Siege wheels with +20 offset
285/60/20 Nokian Outpost AT tires (highly recommend!!)
Ford F-150 Aftermarket Wheels / Tires Thread IMG_0474 (2)

My driveway has a large initial bump due to the city sidewalk and I have no rubbing, forward or reverse, even at full lock.

Ford F-150 Aftermarket Wheels / Tires Thread IMG_0575

These tires are ~ 1/2" taller & wider than the OEM 275/60/20 size so you definitely won't have an issue. With a +20 offset, the sidewalls bulge out slightly but the actual tread is just inside fender.
