There is typically a red or white wire retainer clip on the front of the connector that needs to be removed to install any new pins. After the new pins are installed, you simply re-install the clip and re-connect the connectors.

This video thread should be pinned (pardon the pun).

Yes definitely. Thanks for all the help.

CCM installed, pigtail tapped into IPMA successfully and seated. CCM recognized now. Updated all forscan changes and added settings from IPMA to CCM, calibrated CCM this morning and now I get "pre-collision assist not available" in my dash and 2 IPMA codes

U0420 Invalid data received from Power Steering Control Module 'A'
- signal invalid

U2101 - Control module configuration incompatible

I cleared the codes and restarted but they keep coming up. I'm gonna step away from the truck for a while and then go back and check my forscan values to see if something needs to be changed.

Ok update… I had to make some IPMA ForSCAN changes and everything works. I just tested it out and it was totally worth it. Just in time too… I have to drive to NY from SC to pick up my son at the US Merchant Marine Academy in a few weeks. Thanks again for all the support and writeups from everyone. It was a good learning experience too... this is my first Ford.

Glad to hear, looks like your persistence paid off and got it whipped. You'll love it more and more the more you use it. These things drive themselves.

Quick question, for bringing your truck in for dealer service work, is it possible to reset the modules to their AsBuilt configs? Or, does it even matter? I've seen some threads where people talked about the dealer FDRS system not being able to communicate properly after certain modules were changed.

Yes you can easily go back to asbuilt if you back them up beforehand. You could potentially also download asbuilt file from ford but I haven’t tested this way. I think a lot of people reset ForSCAN to asbuilt before they go into service but I’ve read also that some dealers do t check if anything has been changed

After installing everything, making the changes in FORScan, driving around, and leaving it sit for hours neither ACC or regular cruise control works. I also get the following warnings on the dash. Any idea where to start?

All of those look like something is disabling your front camera to me. i.e. sun in the camera, hood up, bugs/dirt, etc. Anyway, if you have a 302A with 360 cameras like I do, you may want to check FORScan values against the spreadsheet I just sent you in PM.

My truck is not happy right now. Something with the BCM 726-16-01 code is causing ABS faults. Being a powerboost I feel like the value should be 190 but if it is only two digits how does that work? have a U2017 and U2101 ABS code and in the IPMA

Update: I changed the BCM code to 190 and no codes. I do have the pre-collision assist warning but that is probably because I need to do a 360 calibration even though I dont have 360. I still am not seeing the CCM.

Has anyone seen if the bracket that the CCM mounts too is there when the bumper is removed.
Wondering if I need to order that bracket.
