Adding Auto Wipers

I know that many are not a fan of the auto wipers on the F150's. However, since the stalk for them will be included with the SCCM that I will be purchasing for the heated steering wheel upgrade, I was wondering what else would be required to add them. From what I can tell, I will definitely need a sensor that goes up near the rear view mirror. Does anyone know if the necessary wiring already exists for a '23 302a or is there a harness that I would need as well? I'm assuming there will also be some changes required in Forscan once all of the hardware is in place. Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

I think I saw that infotainment sells an auto wiper kit, you should ask @Jesse-Infotainment

Thanks and I did see that as well. Since the stalk will be coming with the SCCM I will be ordering, I wouldn't need the whole kit. If I find out that I need the harness in addition to the sensor, I will definitely reach out to him to see if he could do a package for those. I just don't know if the harness is necessary for all trucks that are adding auto wipers or if it's possible that the higher trim XLT's and lower trim Lariats already have the necessary wiring.

So I decided to pop the cover above the rear view this morning and found three wires that go to a dummy plug. My guess is that these are for the rain sensor.

So I did a bit of image searching and came across this from another thread. Wiring for the rain sensor confirmed (at least on my truck).

I added it in my 22 501 lariat. Power was hot to the dummy plug. Added the sensor and a couple for scan changes.

How does the sensor work? I just thought it was done with the camera that's in there.

It doesn't sense vibration because sometimes it comes on when I first start in the garAge. Dust sets it off. That's why I assumed the main camera in there because on my truck it was only available if you had the adaptive cruise that read the speed signs and lane centering.

Maybe it's a combination of the camera and the rain sensor? I have that camera also, but I didn't think it was used for the auto wipers.
