you may not be able to add the kicker since the B&O already comes with a sub which is located in the same spot as the Kicker would go.
Im looking to replace the BO sub with the kicker one. I want a different sub with my BO system but it has to go behind the seat. I use the rest of the rear seat area for storage and stuff so i cant put a box under the back seats.

Do you have anything behind the rear driver side back seat? I thought the B&O had a little sub back there.

Also I replace all the door speakers with kicker CS. The results were amazing. Now I got bass from the sub and more volume with the kickers cs speakers. So I am happy and done with my audio set up. Didnt want anything to fancy (my mustang has 2 L7 12in subs) also no need for a DSP. But if I were to put a amp and a DSP the cs speaker would sound even louder and better.

My biggest complaint is lack of soundstage, I can barely tell there are other speakers except for that one in the center dash. Have you noticed improvement in imaging after replacing all the speakers?

Oh yes it did. A huge difference on that. I actually haven't changed the center speaker and the pillar speakers yet. just the ones on the doors.

Just installed a Scosche 90LOC to my 6 speaker system and it works great. There is no need to spend the extra money on a fancier LOC since this has adjustable output and fits great behind the head unit.

I also replaced my door speakers with Focal PS165F component speakers from a previous build and sounds pretty great even without installing a DSP and running off the head unit.

What size are the door speakers and tweeters for the non B&O system? Crutchfield still doesn't have any sizing data for the 2021's.

Non B&O Speakers are all the same as the previous year. 6x9 in front, 6" in rears. Mounting adapters and wiring harnesses for speakers from previous year all work.

6.5s in the doors and not sure on the tweeter size. There’s a sizable amount of room for the tweeters in the pillars. I ended up drilling holes for the tweeters for a factory flush mount look in the rear doors just above the 6.5s. Most people would probably put coaxial in the rear doors. Hope this helps.

After replacing all the door speakers and tweeters and hooking them up to a 5 channel amp, I disconnected the center speaker. With a proper setup that dash speaker is worthless. Sound stage is miles better than stock. I can't speak to the stock head unit powering replacement speakers, but I would highly recommend getting after market amp(s) to power the door speakers. Having the proper power with after market speakers does a lot more than just make it louder.

ended up going with a Rockford fosgate 12” sub and an Audiocontrol converter/amp combo. Super easy install and now I feel like I have some real bass. A few pics.

What power source are you using for the remote wire? I've been struggling to find a fuse that'll turn off when the truck is off. Can't tab into the ignition bc of it cuts on and on as you know.

The audiocontrol unit I went with automatically senses an Audio signal and turns on…no need for a remote turn on…part of the simple install comment
