Just updated my other thread on how unimpressed I was with Agricover shipping protection. To their credit, they sent me 4 rack pieces under warranty. Finally had a chance to install last night.

Used a Dremel to cut out the front inserts. I’d say it worked quite well! I removed my rollup tonneau cover during install (just so it didn’t interfere).

Also used the bed 400w outlet for the first time, lol.

Everything went together fairly well except for the cross beams/rack: the angles of the rack, when tightened, don’t align perfectly with the cross pieces. So there’s a slight bow in the cross beam; I’m going to leave it for now and probably tweak it later when I try to install the Softopper underneath.

Speaking of which: I took a bit of a gamble to get the angled rack vs vertical rack and I fear it’s not going to work. The angled ones are really just aesthetic: they conform to the shape of the cab better (and maybe slightly better drag). But it appears they angle TOO much for the Softopper to fit. I’ll give it a try anyway hopefully next weekend.

Looks great! Now that you've had it for a bit, how do you like it? I'm thinking of ordering it vs the Truxedo Elevate system and saving 50% roughly.

I like it a lot!
I did end up getting the aluminum uprights so that I could fit the Softopper underneath. This also requires getting additional fasteners so I could thread the nuts on from the outside (theres very little room from the inside when the Softopper rail is installed.
Adarac was very clear to me the aluminum uprights couldn’t be validated to be compatible but I honestly see no difference in how they mount to the rails.

Upside: I now have an extra set of steel uprights I don’t need so if you’re interested, maybe I can sell them to you!

And if you want any more pics, let me know. I have the rails on right now and can throw on the steel uprights again easily enough.

That looks great! What cover are you running? Any issues with fitment with the adarac?

TonnoPro. No issues at all; any inside-bed cover will fit perfectly fine. The rails sit on the bed rail between the two stair pockets so any cover that mounts to the inside of the bed won’t interfere.

Installing the Softopper took a little more work (still I/P); I have another post that walks thru that journey!

I have a Truxedo Deuce and a Deezee hex rails on my truck currently. The rails mount into the stake pockets like the adarac. The installation is a bit fudged but it works. I'm picking up my new F150 next week and was seriously considering the adarac rack with the same cover again if possible. This gives me hope!

From the pics I see online, the Deuce looks like a very similar install to the TonnoPro LoRoll I have. It all fits with zero issue.

Here’s some pics with just the rails and TonnoPro (I need to adjust the tonneau cover up about 1/8” but otherwise it’s fine)

It looks fantastic! Now that you've had it for a while, what are your impressions? I'm contemplating ordering it instead of the Truxedo Elevate system and potentially saving around 50%.

I like it a lot! It's proven flexible to also install with a Softopper (tho I had to get the aluminum uprights) and it's relatively easy to install/remove as needed. Don't notice any noise/whistling when driving, sturdy, and flexible.

I still have the steel uprights/cross bar so if that's the route you'd like, let me know for some more savings! (Agricover said the uprights were not officially compatible between the steel and aluminum rails but I had no issue installing the aluminum upright on the steel rail)
