That yellow really looks good with the blue. How were they painted? And as a coda to this Odyssey, my truck has now received its custom paintwork (tow hooks, engine vents, and grill in Tremor-style, but in bright yellow) and a custom yellow FX4 sticker on the back to tie it all together. Might not be for everyone, but I like it...
That's kind of what I was thinking or possibly a shade of blueI would totally rock some red on mine where you added the yellow to yours. ??
I took it to a custom paint shop run by a guy on the tractor-pull circuit that specializes in custom-painting big rigs, but he agreed to take in my F-150 because it was a small job he could work in. I sent them some reference pics I took of a Tremor at the local dealership, and asked for them to do the same thing for my truck, but in bright, primary yellow. That yellow really looks good with the blue. Tried researching the same thing. Became an obsession that led nowhere.Correction: I went under my truck just now. The part number on my parking brake is for the medium/heavy duty one here:

So I guess I do have everything...
What recall?I love this truck!? Hope everyone is having a merry holiday season! Has anyone been in for the recall yet?
@Pixie was probably referring to the heat shield recall. What recall?
I seen that a while back, but ford pass is n not showing i have a recall on the pb, just one on my 87 f150 Lariat, lol.@Pixie was probably referring to the heat shield recall.

It might not affect yours. I'm not sure if they had a certain build timeframe for these. With all that snow and now rain in your area not a fun time to crawl underneath. Given how fragile these aluminum driveshafts appear to be, I'd just keep an occasional eye on it for any rubbing from the heat shields.I seen that a while back, but ford pass is n not showing i have a recall on the pb, just one on my 87 f150 Lariat, lol.
