Not much going on, though I'll post an 'update' because it's been a few days.

Yardsail looks like they'll be buying off the lot, but I'll keep them on the list until they get their new truck... you never know what will happen. I'm also taking Segev2110 off the list as it looks like they were a drive-by visitor to this thread. If they return with updates, I'll stick them back on!

Finally, my data started showing an ETA of '10/27', but the tracker still says ETA 'TBD'. My dealer's heard nothing, and my FordPass hasn't shown anyone in the truck, so until I hear more, I'll assume this is the latest in a long line of spurious delivery dates.

... but you never know!

Dealer has been unresponsive since truck was delivered Saturday. Making me nervous... Hopefully they haven't sold it!

Well. It came. Dealer called Monday and I picked it up Tuesday. Doesn’t feel real. But it’s a huge upgrade from my 2003 explorer sport trac. Couldn’t be happier. Good luck to those who are still waiting.
Anyone have any recommendations on ceramic coatings?

That’s exciting to see a date change. I hope that means they’re getting ready to ship it!! Mine still shows 12/31. Just got home from dealer and am strongly considering a SD instead. I really don’t want to white knuckle across the country and I’m afraid Pixie will seriously limit my towing capability. I thought the 250 would be too much truck for me but it felt pretty good on my test drive, not too big at all! Kinda made me feel like a boss bitch. Now I don’t know what to do? Just for reference I am a solo female nurse planning to travel with RV. I really like the PB for daily driver while on assignment, and the dry camping potential while traveling. But I need to feel comfortable towing long distance and through mountains etc. I’m torn…

If you are planning to tow a fair amount of the time, I would not hesitate to go with a F250. Much better for towing in the long run!

I'd say if you're buying mostly for towing, an F250 is far superior, while the F150 is going to be much more economical as a daily driver. If you don't mind the (lack of) gas mileage from the SuperDuty, then it'll tow pretty much anything recreational-related you can hitch it to. But I'm not saying anything you don't already know or haven't already learned researching. I guess it just comes down to what priority you put on economy vs. capability. Good luck in your decision!

Welp.. Dealer finally called me back.

Said only now they will not accept X plan I got for my neighbor who's going through a leukemia battle right now. Threatened to sell the truck to 2 other customers EVEN THOUGH I HAVE A DEPOSIT ON THE TRUCK. They came back and offered MSRP and I said no.

We decided we're going to order with X plan from a more local dealer. Angry because my family has purchased 8 cars through these guys and my buddy was so fired up to get this thing this week.

I told them a month ago when I took delivery of my first order that he was going to take the second truck and gave them the X plan pin, and only now they are straight with me after not responding for a week.

I will not disclose the name of the dealer but will be happy to do business with better people here in the great state of Nevada.

The big news is that Fquinn47 has taken delivery of their truck at last, a nice grey one (a popular color in this thread). Congrats, Fquinn47! So now we're down to two built and waiting. Dmac, however, is pretty fed up with a dealer bait-and-switch, and it looks like they may be going elsewhere for now. For now, I'm leaving them on the list for the satisfaction of removing them when they are able to secure a truck from a friendlier dealer.

Yardsail is also looking, and Pixie may be looking soon. If they buy off the lot, then I'll be alone in Limbo. But I'm not giving up... my truck is coming... maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow, but someday.... and I'll be there to sign the check. You're out there somewhere, truck!

(That's me down at the dock staring out to sea looking for a container ship full of microchips to appear)

I got a front-end PPF wrap and am hitting it with CQUK 3.0 next weekend.

I think I posted that my truck was missing the sensor that should have come with it for the trailer backup assist. After several trips to the dealer, they finally admitted that it should have come with it. They said they are going to order it today. Its a $528 part so I am glad they finally stepped up.

I had accepted the fact that they stopped shipping them with Job 2 trucks. My salesman did look in every truck on the lot to see if he could find one for me though. And none had them. So I ended up buying one off ebay for $150. But $528 is the same price the dealer quoted me when I went to the parts department with the part number(!!!).

Maybe I should have stayed on them more...

Wait, so rewind it for me? I thought that the stickers (which I got) had replaced the need for the transducer box thingy (which I didn't get). Is that not the case?

I’ve been checking this thread every couple days or so, just haven’t had anything new to share. My tracker still says 12/31 for the ETA and TBD for dealer delivery. Just getting depressed with the whole thing and hoping it’s not sitting in a lot somewhere like the March builds. It’s been in production since 8/19. Wondering if it’ll ever show up…

Hey, glad to see you're still around! Sorry to remove you, I just have this mania about making the list smaller. I'll add you back next update!

As for the shipping 'Start' and 'End' date window, the Mach-E tracker, if you 'show raw details', will show the raw data for your order info... that's where I got mine.
