Yes, I called FMC customer service 800-392-3673, just like I did last week. She told me last my build day was 8/20/2022. (Last week)

I call today for updates; she said she had good news for me. She said in production and it was getting build today. She also said she didn't how long it would be there.

Did they change your blend date? My production date was eight days before my blend date

Production begins about 8-9 days before blend, in my case 8/9 for 8/18 blend date. The blend date is when the whole assembled truck rolls off the line. Your blend date is still showing as 8/17 on your window sticker.

It's bad! You are right. I found my scheduled build day on window sticker 8/17/2022.
You were right, I was wrong.

How do we know if we have a VIN it will be built? Can’t Ford just say they ran out of parts/time and delete the VIN?

Once a VIN has been created, it cannot be "uncreated". And they are model year specific, cannot be used to build next model year.

That is not accurate. Blend is when parts are on line. Not when it rolls off. Its the very beginning of build process.
My blend date was 7/3. Truck built on 7/13.

In production in tracker just means it is scheduled to be built.

No. It might be complete on 8/17. Most likely not built untill 18 or 19th

I realize that blend date is when chassis meets the body. You will still have a day or two for completed truck and modules to populate. Just giving him some hope

blend is actually before that. when all the pieces parts are on the line. the very start of the process

I was told by Ford Chat that my build date will be 8/25. I don't have a window sticker yet.

On the 8/8 build week we received our window stickers about a week before our build days
