What a beauty, Steve! Loving the Red!First photo when I got home. I love everything about it!!!
Not gonna lie. It’s pretty frustrating to see FMC Official here trying to spread cheer when most of the active people here are sitting in chiphold purgatory. What a beauty, Steve! Loving the Red!
I agree that people are sour, but you can't knock Ford's social media folks' genuine positive posts when all they're generally stuck with is dealing with issues. Not gonna lie. This is exactly what I told the executives I emailed. We understand there are delays, the problem we have is the lack of real communication from Ford. Just be honest, tell us it's delayed and why.Crushing my dreams, lol. I’m going to remain optimistic until that date window is exceeded. I wish they would communicate more though. I’d rather receive a weekly email saying “chip hold with an as-of-now ETA of x” instead of this “every 45 day” business. Here I am willing and waiting to give Ford over 70k for a vehicle, a little more transparency and communication isn’t too much to ask for.
Damned if they do damned if they don’t. Also it’s probably some intern on the account so wouldn’t think much of it either way.Not gonna lie. It’s pretty frustrating to see FMC Official here trying to spread cheer when most of the active people here are sitting in chiphold purgatory.
I'm (safely, I feel) guessing that the information my dealer gave me last week about delivery of my truck is erroneous. At this point I'm starting to wonder if I'll even get my '22 in 2022.Thank you for being a valued Ford customer. We wanted to update you again on the status of your F-150 Platinum order. While we initially predicted your vehicle build would begin week of August 15, 2022, the supply chain challenges we’ve been up against are still causing delays in production that are beyond our control.
We understand how frustrated you may be (we are too), and we apologize for any inconvenience. Rest assured, we are doing all we can to minimize the delays and get you on the road in your new vehicle as soon as possible.
Please continue to look out for updates from us. Once your vehicle is built, we will contact you again. In the meantime, we truly appreciate your patience and understanding.
Reach out to your sales person or sales manager. They get the commission for selling you your vehicle and have access to the VVR. My sales manager sent my VVR over to me every time I asked (weekly or bi-weekly). If the VVR didn’t change then nothing the email you get from Ford would help, but you’d at least see potential changes in the « disposition ETA »Crushing my dreams, lol.
