I wonder what the order tracking app uses to group together "similar" vehicles.
Honestly I don't think it tells the whole story, probably very generic grouping.
More useful would be an average eta, not a max

I found in a Bronco forum he said he's using the year, make, model, and trim, from the 6 digits in the VIN, or something close to that. That said, the stats are only from the data that people have put into ordertrack.app. It has no way of knowing info on all the other trucks built.

I've been watching the 7/18 group, and now the 8/1. Looks like there are a lot of trucks "In Production", and on chip-hold. I still have a 8/25-8/31 ETA to dealer, so hopefully that means they have a good handle on the chip supplier and expect them soon. I really don't want to be put out to pasture and get lost while waiting on the chip.

I do believe that the missing chips are related to the engine module, I have good sources

Do you know if it is for a certain motor or all?

I'm in a 3.5EB. Does your source have any info on the supply chain situation?

I don't think it's a specific engine, I work at ford so did some digging.

That would explain why when I looked in OASIS, the truck is built, but missing an engine calibration.
I'm sort of confused, my truck has some or all pcm cals(7E0) completed so I wonder what the hold could be. I'm seeing on my end some sort of internal combustion engine hold, but perhaps it's just a general binning of sorts.

Delivery got pushed from 8/8 - 8/14 to 8/23-8/29.
Going insane over here

Meanwhile later build are getting their trucks. I wonder if the BAP has something to do with it.

Might be something with the X02a packages because mine is built and waiting on a chip too (402a). My delivery window is 8/27-9/2.

465 "similar" (2022 Platinum Screw 3.5EB) trucks in "In Production" status according to ordertrack.app, only counting people that are using ordertrack.app. No telling how many others are sitting on chip-hold that don't use ordertrack.app. There were 334 when my truck went into production, 7/20.

At the beginning of the year, and late last year, trucks were put out to pasture on chip hold, and it was difficult for Ford to get them back into the plant when chips came in. Newer orders were going through earlier. I hope that doesn't happen again.

I’m so confused. My truck is showing in transit from my dealer, but on the far right there’s a note showing “chip hold at plant”. Attached are my modules and at the end the infamous “g”. Anyone have this same issue? Talked to chat today with 2 different agents. One said it shipped one said it’s at the plant lol. 😪
