I believe both those things are items they send your truck out for after being built. Most likely it was built but now they are waiting on those outside shops.

Haha that is exactly what happend. Now it’s 11:30 at night and I’m catching up on all my forum updates.
That’s good news about the rust. My first one I declined because of it. That’s one sweet ride! Everyone here will accept the fact that your forum posts will be intermittent at best from here on out hahah. That’s still crazy to think about that you had your truck so fast from being built. Sorry for the late reply. I’ve been messing with the truck most of the day.
I picked up my 2021 Platinum F150 this afternoon and I love it. It’s probably the most luxurious vehicle I’ve ever driven. The quality and overall build is outstanding. I’m very impressed with the 12 inch infotainment screen. There are some really cool features on there. I did order mine with the V8 and it does sound really nice although I’ve taken it easy on it so far. The dealership was for the most part a good experience. I was there about 2.5 hours (45 min test drive and walk around/ then about 2 hours of paperwork and waiting on certain things to be prepared) My only complaint is the $1,500 rebate I thought was locked in wasn’t. The dealer said you have to be approved by Ford finance with a VIN to lock this in and since it was a custom build I didn’t have the vin in time. It’s possibly BS but who knows. They did accept the $1000 retail order incentive so it wasn’t a total loss +$100 for some same driving incentive (something to do with Ford 360 prep package) The truck was full of gas and cleaned upon receipt. Although it looked like a 5 year old washed it (Kind of expected that) I don’t have the best pictures just yet but will share a couple of what I have so far
FYI- I would definitely add your VIN to the Ford Pass app prior to pickup. It was really cool this morning I guess the dealer activated the modem and all of a sudden I could see how much gas, mileage, tire pressure and the truck location. Haha I though it was cool. The remote start and lock/unlock won’t work until you actually get the dealer to active. Oh.. Almost forgot.. Absolutely no rust. The undercarriage was clean enough to eat off of. Very happy to see that as well. I looks like they now coat everything with a rust protector.
