What are you using to track the truck? As of this morning my truck was in Belen NM, about 450 miles from Phoenix. Truck is so close!
I went here https://performanceparts.ford.com/contact-us/What are you using to track the truck?
Chatted with Tom on that link. Pals shows my truck sitting in KC yard. He shows it 30 minutes away from the dealership but the eta is still 8/5-8/11. Guess that date is wrong, lol. Hurry up and give me muh truck!I went here https://performanceparts.ford.com/contact-us/
Used the chat function to have someone look up my VIN and order number. Once your truck is on the train and moving they can see the last checkpoint the train was at.
“Tom” must be a generic agent name… my tom just said they don’t give out that information and there was no way to track he knew of.Chatted with Tom on that link. Yeah as with every way we all have been using to track our trucks it's not always reliable and accurate....“Tom” must be a generic agent name… my tom just said they don’t give out that information and there was no way to track he knew of.
This Tom was accurate, dealer is going to drive it from the rail yard tomorrow so I can get it Friday. Pals shows nothing and it wasn’t even scheduled to be moved from there for another week or 2, it’s a 35 mile drive?!?!Yeah as with every way we all have been using to track our trucks it's not always reliable and accurate....
The ETA's are not very accurate. I had an ETA of 7/23, It hit the rail yard 15 miles from my dealer on 7/6. Even with the truck driver shortage it got to the dealer on 7/12. From what I see the transit number is very close to the number of days it takes to hit the dealer. My transit number was 22. figured from the day it shipped that would have been 7/13 delivery.Got confirmation my truck is at the local rail drop off as of this morning. ETA STILL shows a crazy 8/3-8/9 delivery even though my truck is literally 11 miles away from the dealership. Taking all my willpower to not pester the dealer...trying to let them go through their normal process...
My ETA end date updated to late August when it updated my ship days to 7. Arrived to my dealer after 5 days. The ETA's are not very accurate. Almost everyone I see posting is getting their trucks 7 to 10 days before the end ETA date.
Yours came with rain sensing wipers? I have the 501a and mine didn’t. Good write up! Enjoy!!Well, I took delivery on July 10th. Ordered on May 11th. Blend was the 24th of June. Built June 24. I have 750 miles on it and love it. Antimatter Blue is dark, it looks almost black. Went with 501A mid package on the Lariat, I wanted those 18” wheels and didn’t need some of the 502A package stuff.
Love the 2.7L engine, plenty of get up and go and returns good MPG. Took a 70 mile trip last week, mostly 60 mph and got 25.5 mpg.
LED reflective headlights are nice and white and bright, no complaints.
Got auto rain wipers, didn’t know for sure if the truck would have that.
Love the 360 camera and adaptive cruise.
Things I changed or tweaked.
Added auto start stop wire patch, to hold last setting. I leave that feature off, don’t like the engine shutting off.
Had to adjust the fog lights up. They were pointed so far down, I couldn’t even see them or the cornering light, when you turn.
Added oil catch can, just want to catch the oil, even though I know I have dual injection system to clean the valves.
Changed the only incandescent bulbs on the entire truck out. The front turn signals. Use bulb 4257.
Added a DeeZee bed mat.
Used forscan and changed a few things.
added coolant temp number and transmission temp number under those gauges.
disabled the double honk when walking away from a running truck.
turned on Bambi mode, fogs stay on when brights are on.
Disabled the bulb out hyper flash, since I changed the front turn signal bulbs to LED.
overall very happy with the truck. Just a little bit of rust on drive axle underneath.
Any questions, please let me know.
