6/14 Build Week

I was originally scheduled for a 5/29 build date, but since KC will still be shut down for that week, I have been bumped to the 6/14 build week. Who else has this week?

I'm also scheduled for the 6/14 build week. This is my third scheduled week but just got my day assigned today to 6/17. Though my previous 2 scheduled weeks also had a day scheduled, I am thinking (hoping) this one might be more significant with KC reopening.

Week of 6/14 KC build. I lost count of the number of delays (3 I think), but my trunk is Leadfoot 6 1/2 ' bed, FX4 SCrew, Lariat 502a with a moon roof. Told today I am planned for a 6/17 build day. Guess we'll see.

Good luck to you gents on the 6/14 build week. We’ve got to be getting close to the end of production for the model year, and a last big run of 2021s.

The factories have to start being configured for the 2022 models sometime very soon.

I know they are gearing up for MY 2021 Job 2 which I know in previous years lasted until early fall, but with the year we have been having who knows - they may be building 21s until new years eve.

I know the Super Duty trucks are going to start 2022 models this summer, with the new giant Sync 4 screen.

I don't even know what build week I'm in anymore.
I was bumped 3 times due to shut downs and i can't get any info not even from my dealer. My last build date was May 24 following the pattern I'm guessing i have a 6/7 build week.

I ordered 22 March. I have factory wheel well liners and dual panel roof, 360 cameras, FX4, Lariat sport, and 20' dark rims. I am frustrated with the changes.... I wanted to add the ACTIVE PREP system to my truck but the dealer told me it was locked the day it was accepted. 3 days later I got a VIN and he told me all I could have changed up to that point would have been to change the paint and that would delay it....not like it was going to be built that day.

I ordered 3/15. 302A 2.7 XLT 5.5' bed w/ tow tech, dual panel roof, sport. I think you were also on the same build week as me before, so it seems like they are keeping somewhat the order of scheduling when they move it to a new week.

I know Ford wants to send the KRs, Platinums and Limiteds out so they can profit the most, but there is a growing backlog of KC trucks that need to be built, and since the VIN is generated they cannot swap plants.

I have a Leadfoot 6.5' bed 5.0L and I was under the understanding that they locked me in at KC. But the whole "you have a VIN you are locked" thing....it is a computer file. I have done too much coding to 1)buy that line, and 2) drive a truck using Bluedrive? until it is a year or more old. Look at Boeing with the 737 Max and the Boeing Starliner. Code review is a very critical job...and the ounger crowd that can't decide what bathroom they belong in do not give me much reason to trust their work....

I got a build week of 6/14 in Dearborn from my dealer the yesterday. I originally ordered on 3/29. Although the dealer assured me my order was in and everything was fine, it wasn't, he never submitted the order to Ford. With a bit of luck I found out that the order was never submitted. I went to a different dealer on 5/7 and ordered the truck. I explained what happened and he said he would contact Ford and see if they would do anything for me. Thanks to the dealer and Ford from the dates I see on these threads they bumped me up to a build date that is about what I should have had if the first dealer had done his job.
