I priced an XLT Super Cab in March, 2022 and now with the current 2023 pricing. The price for the same truck increased 5.8%. Is this increase about what others are finding on average? This is in less than 5 months. Maybe they are raising MSRP pricing so they have some room to discount them when the recession slows down demand and make everyone think they are getting a deal.

How are you getting pricing for 2023 models?

I just checked and I can't order what I ordered back in Feb. For my XLT Supercab the 36 gallon tank and 4x4 are now options which force me to switch from a 6.5ft bed to the 8ft. Maybe different with the standard CrewCab. I know I checked back in June and it was about $5K more than when I ordered.

You sure? SuperCab 6.5' is 145" wheelbase.

2.7L V6 EcoBoost® with Auto Start-Stop Technology (NA on 4x4 with 157" or 163.7" WB)
Extended Range 36 Gallon Fuel Tank (NA 122” WB, or 3.5L PowerBoost Full Hybrid V6 Engine (99D))

EDIT:
Just realized you're in Canada, and I haven't looked at the Canadian Order Guide.

There were 3 or more price increases within the 2022 MY so yes, 5.8% is very likely. Some of those increases were before March so depending on exactly when a 22 was priced for comparison, an equivalent 23 will be probably no less than 3% and as much as 8 or 9% more.

I am not 100% sure when mine (2022 Lariat 502A) was "priced" since I didn't order it but I believe it was late 2021 or Jan 2022, but the same truck as a 2023 went up somewhere between 7 and 9%. Not clear if 20" Wheels are included in 502A or a line item for 2023...thus the range.

My lariat to build on the builder now is $66,450, and the MSRP when I ordered 2/1 was 61,475 a difference of $4,975 or 8%. I would assume the 2023 is another 1-2% more than the current builder pricing?

My 2022 Lariat MSRP has increased 3.5% since I ordered it in February. The 2023 equivalent is +6.7% without the Tow Technology package (RIP) and just the 360 camera package. Adding the Trailer Tow Package on top would bring it up +8.5%.

So that’s about $43k to $48k in USD. Yikes

360 cam was inadvertently left from my lariat built - considered reordering for my23. Also saw appx 5k increase for similarly optioned 23. Probably not worth it for 360 camera and heated steering wheel plus another extended wait.

These price hikes are bananas. Even my 2022 KR standard I ordered in December of 2021 raised crazy high. I paid $67.2k (before any incentives/deal) and the final sticker was $73.8k. With option deletes and more hikes for a 2023, I be surprised if they sold a single Platinum or Limited. A person would be pretty foolish to buy those trims knowing they aren't getting what they should be.
