Wait for the corsa or have a 2020 kit modified (only requires the flange to be replaced). After going through half the cheap brands on my old car, I’ll never touch anything besides the corsa. Zero drone and great sound.
Stock exit location is also the best for drone/NVH
corsa is the best. quality construction, sounds awesome, and no drone

Does anybody have any experience of using one of these dual rear exit systems.

Hi there, I’m new to trucks and their respective exhausts... As far as sounds goes, where would a Corsa fit in compared the Borla Touring, S, and Atak?
Thanks!

Corsa generally offers sport and extreme sound levels. I like the sport kits, personally. The extreme gets too raspy on the coyote.

sport is similar to touring

extreme = atak

Thanks for the feedback! I will be sure to look into the Corsa Sport.

I had a Gibson on my Tacoma, it sounded great, but in just 8 months it was almost rusted through.

So just researching some ideas before truck gets here May 12th. Hopefully.
Have some questions.
Love Roush active exhaust (2020) don't like $2K price tag.
Only want 2 modes daily drive and 1/8th mile go baby go.
Thinking about keeping stock exhaust but adding cutout and small race/sport muffler and down tube/deflector? Poor mans active exhaust.
Have a guy lined up that can do all the bends and welds etc.
So will still have 2 paths for exhaust while open.
Any experience or suggestions?
Is stock pipe 2.5" ??
I though there was another company that made a kit like this for previous gen?
Anyone have the diagram of 2021 OEM 5.0 exhaust?
Suggest best race/sport muffler that would fit perform safely?
Main concern is will this hurt my brand new coyote do I need enough back pressure to prevent backfire, would that hurt valve train etc?
Can I run stock tune or do I have to have a proper tune?

Sry prob should have made another thread on this got carried away. :)

You will not hurt the truck as long as you leave the resonator. That is what is developing "back pressure" on the engine.

The factory 5.0 muffler is an ecoboost marketing sales "boosting" gimmick.

Precisely, you will be shocked at how good the truck sounds without a muffler. I was worried that it would sound like a street rod. It does not.

Once I get all the stuff I ordered and get a day or two to weld it all together I'll try and get a video uploaded. I'm using 3" SS pipe throughout, Magnaflow 12298 (3" single inlet, dual 3" outlet, 18" body length), 12" Vibrant resonator (3" inlet/outlet), and I'll have two 3" pipes exiting before the rear wheel.
Any progress on this build?

I’m digging the stock muffler. Loud when I want it silent when I want it.
I;m with you....it's just got that "growl" when you want it......that why I wanted a V-8...not that tinker-toy sound from a hybrid!

I started putting it together yesterday and ran out of gas for the welder. Should have it done today once I get some more shielding gas. The picture with the tips is just mocked up, I just need to tack all the tubing and run 5-6 more beads.

I didn't get it 100% done today but it's 90% there. The pipes going to the tips are only tacked. But I'm happy so far. I will try and get it fully welded and bolted back on the truck by Friday. Here's a few teasers.
