5.0 + E85 Fuel

On E85 you should be changing your oil earlier than normal. E85 is very hard on oil because it introduces more moisture and fuel into the oil and breaks it down faster. Especially if you do a lot of short trips. I run exclusively E85 and I don't go more than 4k on an oil change. I have noticed the oil monitor on the truck even recognizes E85 and it gives a shorter oil change interval (usually 3,500-4,000 miles)

If I had a 5.0 RCSB running E85 my trips would be very short indeed. About 1/4 mile each
