How many Watts would an air mattress pump pull?
Saw a review on Amazon where this Coleman one drew 230W. Model: 2000021141. Someone else there had the same question, and an owner of the pump said that's what was written on it.

I have the 400W inverter in my 2015. It's a modified sine wave inverter that doesn't operate anything with an AC motor well if at all. It'll power a laptop and my milwaukee chargers fine though. Key has to be on, and engine running. If auto-stop start is enabled, my socket shuts off when the engine shuts off at a red light.

Oddly enough I have only used that plug to power a baby bottle warmer and it worked just fine. Bottle warmer said 500w, didnt think it would run.

Anyone know the amps of the 400 w plug?
Around 3-4 but I would only count on 3.

I opted for the 2kw pro power (5.0) for a little more capability if needed.

Thanks for the info. Honestly, the pro power was one option I didn’t get, and now wished I had of.

Something like this would make sense while traveling/camping long distance.

Keep in mind when looking at what to run on the outlets that most motors have a surge draw and the outlet won't work. Someone mentioned an air pump for a mattress at 230 watts, while not guaranteed, I would not be surprised if that didn't work on the 400W outlet. Surge draw can be 2-3x running draw, so 460+ watts at start, and the outlet would trip.

Maybe not, some camping stuff tries to design their motors to start "softer" knowing that capacity is often limited, but the cheaper stuff is likely just lowest bidder sourced motors and they could have crazy draw at startup.

Since it's supplying 400w and it says it's 110v, it's a simple math problem of 400/110, should be right around 3.6A.
You're right. I was doing the math wrong. I agree around 3.6 amps.

My truck is an XLT 302A, it does not have Pro Power buttons anywhere, so I assume it does not have Pro Power. The window sticker shows it has "Onboard 400w Outlet" and the it has an outlet in the bed with 400w, 120v with the light always on. This outlet really doesn't run much expect phones, and small stuff. It would not run a blow dryer or vacuum. Am I doing something wrong or is this just a standard plug like on the inside and worthless for actual power tools? Just trying to get to know the trucks capabilities.
You can plug in a phone charge or a radio. Not much more powerful. One of the reasons I opted for the powerboost.

You installed an RV fridge in your bed? I thought there were DOT laws about hauling operational propane in an open bed.
Sounds interesting though, send pics, would like to see that set up.
